Some petitions are just crazy. At first I thought, these people are silly for thinking up these impossible ideas. But then I realized that they had no clue what they were asking for! So I decided to lay out some things you should not write about:

Cheaper Scions

Watch any car commercial, go to any car dealership, or read any magazine ad about cars. They aren't cheap. Whyville is supposed to be as realistic as possible, so 14,000 clams is going to stay. I doubt City Hall will ever change that.

Full Bodies

This is another idea that will never happen. Full Bodies take up way too much server space. And even if the workers at Whyville managed to make them work, we would all be really miniscule. And being that small would probably mean no more "Pick Your Nose". We would all be pretty generic.

Write in Different Colors

A lot of people don't realize that you can write in different colors if you win the Whylitzer award. To win it, simply publish an article in a newsletter, paper, etc, or put it online. If you notify Whyville about it, you can get the quill and other prizes, like 1,000 clams.

Free Clams!!!

Please, just stop writing this. The way Whyville is set up, you have to earn your salary to get clams ( unless you are lazy and buy them, but back to my article...). The point of this is so you learn. Yes, learning is the original reason that Whyville was built for. It seems shocking, I know. The only way you can do good at the games is to actually take the time and play them, and by playing you are (gasp!) learning.

No More Expiring Parts

Again, parts expire to have more server room. Whyville has to have a way to fit all the rooms and people in! Besides, if you really want to keep your parts that badly, buy a Whypass!

Build-a-bear, AMC, etc.

For those of you who ask for real life stores and items left and right, such as Build-a-Bear, or Disney, Whyville can't use these things. There's a thing copyright in the world, and if something is copyrighted, you can't use it. You might think, but wait, we have Toyota Scions! Isn't that copyrighted? The answer is yes, but Toyota has sponsered Whyville. To make it simple, if you want these things, you need that company to sponsor.

These are some good things to put in your petition:

Title

Your title should have to do with your petition. Trust me, the whole "I know Fergie!!" thing gets old.

Paragraphs

If your idea is long, break it into paragraphs. That makes it easier on the eyes

Check First

Before you write your petition, make sure there aren't 1,000 other petitions with the same idea.

One Idea Only

Don't put more than one idea in your petition. They are meant for one topic only!

So go out there and write a petition!

Till next time,
Ollie (aka katluvr11)
