Hello fellow Whyvillians.

A very exciting event is happening in Whyville! Once again, we will be hosting an on-line concert.

This time the very talented recording artist tobyMac will be hosting his own chat session and concert with Whyville. Check out all the details, and make sure to mark your calendar, you won't want to miss this . . .

When?

Saturday, June 16 at 2 PM Whyville Standard Time (that's Pacific Time, if you didn't know)

Where?

Whyville.net, at the Greek Theater

Will tobyMac really be there?

Yes! tobyMac will be LIVE, at the Greek Theater. He will chat with those in attendance and play some of his music from his new album, Portable Sounds, as well as some fan favorites.

Can I come up on stage and meet tobyMac?

Believe it or not, YES! Several lucky Whyville citizens will be invited on stage to chat with tobyMac one-on-one.

NOTE: Because we expect so many new people to be attending the concert and we don't want them to get lost in our town, starting at 1 PM on Saturday all Whyville logins will be directed to the Tailgate Party and the Concert. All other locations will be 'closed'. After the concert, Whyville will return to its regular state, kicking off with a Scion Owners' Event.

Do I need a ticket?

No, you can just show up. The event is free. But, if you want to sit next to your friends, consider reserving your seats ahead of time at the Greek Theater Ticket Booth. Reserved seats cost 20 clams each and ticket holders will all be getting a free tobyMac lanyard added to their Satchel before the concert.

Do I need to register for an account?

You don't need to, but it's a good idea. If you register for an account ahead of time, you can take the time to personalize your Whyville face and set up your chat privileges, so you can look your best and chat with friends during the concert.

Will there be any fun stuff going on before the concert?

You mean, like a tailgate party? Absolutely. The tailgate party will start an hour early, at 1 PM Whyville Time. Come join us and toss a few frisbees with friends and play trivia in the Greek Theater.

Will there be an after-party?

Yes. Scion is sponsoring an "Owners' Event" after-party when Whyville returns to its regular state after the concert. You'll need to arrive in a Scion. If you don't have one, get a ride from a friend.
