I wrote an article called "The Write Idea" in a previous issue, and some people felt that I didn't include enough tips, so here I am again! Now, I am going to give a few more tips on how to make an amazing story that everyone will want to read. Oh, by the way, I have not published a book before, in answer to a few peoples' questions. So, bring on the tips!

1. Write about your interests. An amazing writer will write about whatever topics are interesting to them. If you happen to like puppies, then write about puppies. If you do not like kittens, then you should not even think about writing about kittens.

2. Write every day. If you really want to improve your writing skills, then you should try to write every day for a certain amount of time. The more you write, the better your writing will get.

3. Experiment. You should experiment with different types of stories, like sci-fi and historical fiction, and decide which one you feel the most comfortable writing, and stick with it. It is also a good idea to get someone who will judge your stories honestly tell you which style suits you best.

4. Keep a journal. This tip is a lot like the write every day tip, but I thought that I should put it in anyways. You will probably write better if you keep a journal to write your thoughts and feelings in. Eventually, you will be able to create a character using your own emotions.

5. Share your stories. So, you have written a story that you absolutely love. Well, show it to other people. If you think that you can take the criticism, then find someone who will judge your stories honestly. If you do not think that you can take it, then show it to your family and friends. You will love the enthusiasm that they have for your story!

6. Do not be afraid to submit. If you really like your story, then do not be afraid to submit it to a magazine or newspaper. My favorite place to publish is our very own Whyville Times! Some other ideas are Cricket magazine, Humpty Dumpty, National Geographic Kids, and Discovery Girls, but the possibilities are pretty much endless.

Well, there you have it! More writing tips to make you a better author. Everyone on this planet has the potential to be an amazing author, but only a few will choose this path. I hope that my tips will help make you an amazing author. However, no matter what you do, have fun, and never stop following your writing dreams!
