A tear shed, one's blood is splattered,
On the battlefield a moan is heard
Violence manifested,
And our hatred is tested
How much genocide can one planet hold?
How can one's heart be so cold?
The horror we are generating,
The brutality we are craving
The kids that envy a disturbing movie,
No more superman, it's the villain they want to be
The video games that demonstrate sin,
Where they always win
There's no game over, they have another live
But that's not reality, and if we want to thrive . . .
We need to shield the children's eyes
The images are reflecting in their eyes
The kids are our fate,
Are we going to recapitulate?
p
Or are we going to rewind,
And clean out our minds
It's time for a new, safe inception
