Nobody ever visits the Greek Theater anymore. Why?

I logged onto Whyville to visit a friend
The friend's named "The Greek Theater"
Yep, friends till the end
I click onto it on the bus menu; alas I'm all alone
I hear my friend sobbing about it's empty home
I tell my friend I'll be right back
And I ask around why it's empty as a shack
No one responds, they go on with their business
I guess they weren't aware of their meanness
In desperation I walk back around
To my lonely pal, who's life's been turned upside down
They all used to be chatterboxes inside my friend's comfy walls
Well that is no more, because of new features like malls
And Wishworks and Club Why and even Akbar's too
They're all too busy to visit you-know-who
Fading out of existence with all the new things
Crying and weeping without the joy he used to bring
I friend finder some people, and they come to sit down
One of my friends begins to act like a clown
We laugh and we chat, having fun all the way
I think I gave my pal quite a happy day
