Heylo Everyone! =o)
I was in the Square and I heard people talking on how they can't wear their usual 30
parts on their face. They had no idea why... well, here's the reason:
The limit was put in place because the City Workers found that unlimited face parts
was one of the main culprits for slowing the site down. Some people
were wearing upwards of 50 parts on their faces. When the server is
overloaded, sometimes you can't even log on to Whyville.
They knew us citizens wouldn't be happy with this, but please
keep in mind that we all have to make some sacrifices to help our city
sometimes.
One of these days when they have the money to buy more servers to run the
site more quickly, they can increase the limit. Until then, please make do with
the 20 parts you are using. Instead of having like 5 earing on each ear, bring it down... just look at parts you don't actually really need.

Hello fellow Whyvillians! I have heard and experienced the 15 face part
rule. Nobody here likes it. I think that you all should stay calm for
now and work hard to convince City Hall to fix it. I have had a few
words with Whyvillians on this 15 part rule.
First I interviewed Diggy:
Me: What do you think about this "15 Part Rule"?
Diggy: I think that it's really dumb because some designers have ideas for new face parts.
Me: If you were City Hall, would you fix this problem?
Diggy: Yes, I would.
Me: Thanks for your time.
Diggy: Yes.
Next I interviewed Razzberri:
Me: How do you like this "15 Part Rule"?
Razzberri: I hate it. We want to look good, don't we?
Me: If you were City Hall, would you change it?
Razzberri: Yeah.
Me: Thanks for your time.
Razzberri: You're welcome.

Note from City Hall: We increased the limit from 15 to 20. Hope this will help tide everyone over until we have the resources to increase it again!

Hi again, its me, tranner. I have been writing for the Times quite a bit now, and ever since I started on Whyville there has never been an article about Whyville issues of expenses, so I decided to write one.
Now we all know that people go round begging for clams and saying they are depressed because they don't have the amount they need. I mean, come on, even I have done it a couple of times. Well, some people take it in the wrong way and there goes another friendship you could have had! Well, anyway, to get to my article!
Well, for starters, I did not come onto Whyville for a couple of weeks due to a family holiday, and when I got back onto my favourite site what had happened? YES, THAT'S RIGHT! All the prices had gone up, the charge to enter Club Why had gone up from 800 clams to 1000 clams and straight away I thought, what a drag! Then I heard a rumour going round about only being able to wear 20 things at a time! Well, I thought, no, I don't believe that, and went to change my outfit and what did I find? I couldn't get fully dressed, because I usually wear more than 20 items.
I thought that Whyville was supposed to be like real life, but you don't go walking down the street and someone comes up to you and says take off that necklace you're only allowed to wear 20 items at a time. So as far as I'm concerned, these two rules mentioned are daft.
To move on, I have been thinking lately about Whyville and I thought, why on earth are we going round with just faces! As I already mentioned, Whyville is supposed to be a model on real life, in my opinion. Well, you don't see many people nowadays with just a face and neck, no arms, legs etc. I realized that a lot of people have been putting petitions in City Hall about it, and some people just can't be bothered to go and sign them. Well, stop your conversation, get into petitions, sign that kind of petition, and make Whyville a better place.
We can't make Whyville a better place without the help of everyone who is a Whyvillian. Just remember, only you can make the difference -- MAKE IT!!
