Hello Whyvillians! One of the most frustrating things I find is when I want to log onto Whyville, but I can't get past the log-in screen! But I don't mind waiting now, because I've found out what's happening behind Whyville's closed server, and now I'm letting you in on the big secret too. It seems that one of our favorite retired City Worker's, Bigfoot Bill, likes to drop in to visit the rest of the City Worker's. And when Bigfoot comes for a visit, all the CW's get together at the Cove and par-t?e!
When I first arrived, I hid myself in some beach grass. It turns out that CW's can float right over top of the grass! Lucky them, I'm still picking grass out of my hair!
The boom box was blaring, and DJ MediaWiz was taking requests. Mark and GuavaLeaf were belting out their favorite tunes, so no one paid any attention to the little spy in the grass. It turns out that Mark and the City Hall receptionist have their favorite songs in common!
Finally, it was time for City Hall to open up Whyville to all us Whyvillians, and for MediaWiz to put the boom box back at Beach South. Bigfoot Bill left humming a song about a man with a very large foot, and Akbar had to take Chi Chi home for a nap. GuavaLeaf swan out of the cove to go hang out at the waterfall, and ScyllaCat went to clean up the clubhouse for Meet the Maker's. After all the City Worker's went off to do their city work, City Hall opened up the log-in page and all the Whyvillians came flooding in, worried about what happened to Whyville. Just remember that next time you have trouble logging on, that there's probably a party going on. Think about how much fun the CW's are having! They deserve to have a party once in a while, they're the people who make Whyville so much fun for us!
So the next time you're in the Cove, if you see one of the CW's coming, quick! Hide in the grass! You'll be in for a pretty fun time (and you might even get to hear Bigfoot Bill sing! ;).
