Nerdishh here with breaking news! There is a new breakout of a disease in Whyville. I couldn't believe it. The weirdest thing was, just the day before I found out, I was wondering when a new one would come: so here it is!
It was just another day: I woke up, put my contacts in, and got on Whyville. I usually get on early in the morning just to read previous Times articles. As I was, I stumbled on one written by Amanda, one of my favorite Times writers, so I clicked on it to read it.
I read the article, it was great. Then I looked at the picture of Amanda because I noticed she changed her look, but then I noticed something different, she had small pink dots on her! I thought this picture must've been an old one when Whypox was still around, so I didn't think much of it, until I remembered that no matter how old the article, Whyville always updates your pictures!
I went to her City Records, just in case there was a mistake. There wasn't. It was the same picture I saw in the Times. Then I went to the CDC.
There were surprising numbers! Already almost 15,000 Whyvillians had got the disease and it looked as though it was growing rapidly. I went to South Beach and other chat rooms to see if anyone had it. There was none, but then again, in a community that had over 2 million people, and 15,000 were infected, I didn't expect to see any at 9 in the morning.

She has lots of metals, I know. But the dots were surprising, as they were in her hair. So I'm not sure that this could be another Whypox outbreak, though I may be wrong. I'm betting Amanda had had Whypox before, and so she should be immune to it, but if it is a new disease, then she wouldn't be immune to it, would she? No Newbies or Oldbies alike are safe!
