Hello Whyville,
Ah. It's been such a long time since I've written a quotes article. Since August 29, I believe. Well, I'm back! I'm going to try to get a quotes article in every week or every other week. Anyway, as I said in the ending of my last article, this week's article is going to be on Famous Movie Quotes! So let's get to the article . . .
Is there one line from a movie you will always remember? Is there a certain actor or actress who said it? Today we are going to look at 5 remembered movie quotes in America. They are not in any order, they are in alphabetical order by movie title, not ranking.
1. A Few Good Men
Tom Cruise (Kaffee): "I want the truth!"
Jack Nicholson (Col. Jessup): "You can't handle the truth!"
2. Casablanca
Humphrey Bogart (Rick): "Here's looking at you, kid."
3. E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial
E.T.: "E.T. phone home."
4. The Field of Dreams
Lee Garlington (The Voice): "If you build it, he will come."
5. Forrest Gump
Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump): "Mama always said life was like a box a chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get."
I hope you enjoyed this quotes article. This article is number 5 in a series of articles on quotes I have written since August 7th of this year. If you would like to view any of the other articles, type my user name in to the search box on the Times' front page. This concludes this week's article. I plan to be back next week so look out! Next week's article will be "Quotes by Famous Musicians." Please discuss this article in the BBS.
