Okay, Whyvillians, it's time to take a quick trip to the past: remember your first couple of days, or even weeks, that you were new to Whyville? You were trying so hard to raise your salary to afford better parts than what Grandma could give out. Maybe you liked the face parts, or maybe you had wondered why Grandma would give out such terrible parts that the rest of Whyville shunned.

Either way, I'm sure that at one point, you wondered why the parts were so terrible. It's actually easy. We, the Whyvillians, donate them. Grandma only gives out what is given to her. Now most of you think that she's not cheap, but selfish with her clams, and refuses to buy anything to give out to the poor portion of the Whyville World.

Wrong again. We're the ones being selfish. You probably have hundreds or thousands of clams on you and you don't buy anything for Grandma to give away to the Newbies? In my opinion, that's a little selfish.

Instead of wasting our time complaining that Akbar's need a returns place, why not give the parts to Grandma or a Newbie in need if you don't like how they look on your face? I'm not talking about the parts that are four days away from expiring; I'm talking about the freshly bought Pretty Girl that you decided you don't like anymore. I'm talking about the hair that's sold out at Akbar's that doesn't match with anything you have in your closet. I'm talking about those Bling Like Ice eyes that you don't like anymore, but bought to spend clams. And while we're at it, why not just buy some things in Akbar's for the sake of giving? 200 clams wouldn't hurt your pocket too bad, especially if you're about to buy a set of hair for 5,000.

Thanksgiving is next month, and it's the time of giving for the next two (November and December). The holiday seasons are quickly approaching and I'm sure some people could use a little something to help cheer them up. Whether it's donating 30 clams to a Newbie that needs help, giving a discount on some hair in the Trading Post, or just buying something and giving it to Grandma, why don't we try and help spruce up the Whyville giving and donate something!

This is bluebag, going to make some spaghetti!

(This is for real, this time I mean it, I'm coming clean, please don't let go . . .)
