We've all heard ghost stories before. Especially at slumber parties, Halloween, and occasionally, Whyville. The other day I heard someone talking about "The Ghost of Whyville". I asked him what the ghost of Whyville was. He said there was a girl who lived on the website now called Whyville back in 1998 when Whyville wasn't around. When City Hall came and made Whyville the girl turned into a ghost and stayed to haunt Whyville. She usually comes out around Halloween. I asked who the account was. The guy did not know the account's name. I decided to go hunt for this "ghost".

Very few people have ever seen the ghost. But she has appeared to a few "Oldbies" around Whyville. So few that it will probably be VERY hard to even find a friend of a person who saw the ghost!

My first stop was the South Beach. In case you didn't know the South Beach is the original beach that was first in Whyville. I waited a few minutes in one of the corners when suddenly I saw the ghost! I managed to swipe a picture! Here's the first one:

I was so shocked! But I didn't have time to stare because the Ghost of Whyville zoomed away. I went to the destination box and went to my next stop. I saw the ghost at Grandma's and took another picture:

I actually saw the ghost reach into Grandma's charity bin and pull out Akbar's Bee Stung Lips! The Ghost of Whyville zoomed off again and this time she reappeared at Tiki Tours! It gave Kiki quite a scare!

Kiki literally screamed and jumped in the air! We both made an attempt to grab the ghost but we both went right through it! The Ghost of Whyville poofed and so I headed straight to the next stop: Dr. Leila's.

I entered and didn't see the ghost when it popped out of nowhere! It attempted to grab Dr. Leila's bird but the bird bit the ghost!

The ghost shrieked with pain and wrangled its arm out of Dr. Leila's bird and zoomed away. I knew it was time to catch this so-called "ghost". I went to the final destination: The Spin Lab.

Going to Akbar's I bought a "ghost catching net: Proven to be 100% ghost proof!" and set it up below the place where the ghost would arrive. The ghost appeared . . .

I pulled on the rope I was holding and SNAP! The net shot up and the ghost was captured!

If I were to tell you the rest of the story in entire detail this article would be WAY too long so here's the summary:

The ghost apologized and just said it was missing its old website that it lived happily in. I said I would help her have a good time in Whyville if she promised to give back what she stole. She agreed and that was that.

Here's a picture of us having a cup of cocoa yesterday:

The Ghost of Whyville is now one of my truest friends! I learned her real name is Sally and she used to live in Nevada but now prefers to roam around Whyville. So next time your at the Cafeteria turn up your volume and listen closely. You might even hear a faint "Cheers!"
