Yeah, a new series. I hate writing the beginnings of series, only because you have to introduce everything and it's really boring to write and read. Therefore, I'm going to make this short, sweet and to the point.
Basically, I have too much music, which is something a lot of you can relate to. I have over 1,000 songs and I have just about every single letter of the alphabet covered in artists. So I'm going to share with you my favorite artists that start with every letter of the alphabet. (I'm not going to say all of that every time; instead I'll just jump into it.)

Academy Is . . . , The: Almost Here is one of my favorite albums. It's not as widely known, because it wasn't as advertised as Santi was, but I really like it. "Down and Out" from Almost Here and "Neighbors" or "LAX to O'Hare" on Santi are probably my favorites.
Action Action: One word sums up the entire band: amazing. "Paper Cliche" and "The Game" from An Army of Shapes Between Wars and "Drug Like" and "Let's Never Go to Sleep" from Don't Cut Your Fabric to This Year's Fashion are pretty much the best songs. Jenn told me about them and I discovered them through PureVolume, too.
AFI: AFI stands for A Fire Inside, in case you didn't know. "Miss Murder" and "Love Like Winter" from Decemberunderground brought these guys out of their shell of not releasing anything for a while. I prefer "Love Like Winter" to "Miss Murder", but I guess it's a matter of opinion. The video for "Miss Murder" has some cute bunnies in it, too.
All Time Low: Even though these guys are still teenagers, they're still incredibly amazing and I have to include them. They just released their first full length album, So Wrong, It's Right in September, after their last EP Put Up or Shut Up. So Wrong, It's Right has the new single "Six Feet Under the Stars". Put Up or Shut Up has "Break Out! Break Out!", which you can download for free at the band's PureVolume site. Personally, "Shameless" is my favorite.
All-American Rejects, The: I haven't heard of any new material from these guys, from "Move Along", "Dirty Little Secret" and "It Ends Tonight" from the album Move Along are true hits. The music video for "Dirty Little Secret" is really awesome, since it features the famous index cards from PostSecret. "It Ends Tonight's" video is really cool, too, and I used it for a project for school. ;)
Almost, The: Aaron Gillespie from UnderOath formed this band as a side project with a couple of friends and so far they're doing great. The single "Say This Sooner (No One Will Ever See Things the Way I Do)" from Southern Weather has a music video, which is really, really cool. "Amazing Because It Is" is probably my favorite.
Avril Lavigne: If you haven't heard of her, you've probably been living under a rock. She's been around for years and years. The first album she's released was Let Go which was followed by Under My Skin. Avril disappeared for a while, but came back this past May with "Girlfriend", "When You're Gone" and now "Hot from The Best Damn Thing".
Avenged Sevenfold: While I only really like a couple of their songs, they're the best. "Bat Country" is a song that just about everyone who watches Fuse knows. "The Beast and the Harlot" is the newest single from Avenged Sevenfold and the video is well, interesting. Both of the songs are over 5 minutes though and they can be found on City of Evil.
Well, Whyvillians, that pretty much sums up the artists that I have that starts with an A. I have more than that, but that's the stuff I actually listen to often. Look in next week's edition for the artists that start with a B!
