Hello nicit here coming to you with the low down about our very own brand new MALL! So I went looking around to find out what our fellow Whyvillians think about the mall so here are a few of interviews that I took with some people.......
1st Interview: Bubbles82
Me: So have you visited the new Akbar's Mall?
Bubbles82: Yes ma'am, I have!
Me: Alright! So do you have a store or else sell things in someone else's store?
Bubbles82: No I don't have my own store but I'm fixing up to start making parts and a store!
Me:That's great! So do you think the new Mall idea is good or do you like the old one better, and also, which is easier to use?
Bubbles82: I like the old one better both ways.
Me:Finally, do you have any comments or suggestions for the new store?
Bubbles82: Nope, sowwy!
Me:Well, thanks!
2nd Interview: hotty19
Me: So have you visited the new Akbar's Mall?
hotty19: Yeah, but I didn't really like it because you can't put stuff you've already bought into your store.
Me: Oh, that's too bad, Do you have a store or else sell things in someone else's store?
hotty19: I made one but, I am not paying whatever you have to pay a day, so I did not put it up!
Me: I see so do you think the new Mall idea is good or do you like the old one better and also which is easier to use?
hotty19: I like the old better, it was easier to use!
Me: And last, do you have any comments or suggestions for the new store?
hotty19: Ummm, you should be able to put the clothes you've already bought into your store and get the money for it, and you shouldn't have to pay for your store each day!
Me: Thanks so much for your time!
hotty19: No problem!
3rd Interview: Playa1

Playa1: The new one is way better!
Me: Finally do you have any comments or suggestions for the new store?
Playa1: Well I still think Akbar should lower some of his prices and maybe, be quicker with manufacturing!
Me: Thanks, you were a great help!
4th and Last Interview: lilgirl05
Me: So have you visited the new Akbar's Mall?
lilgirl05: Yep!
Me: Cool, do you have a store or else sell things in someone elses store?
lilgirl05:Well yes I have a store but, there is only one thing in it!
Me: That's ok, but do you think the new Mall idea is good or do you like the old one better and also wich is easier to use?
lilgirl05:Umm I like the new one better it's easier to use!
Me: Finally do you have any comments or suggestions for the new store?
lilgirl05:Umm, not really, lol =0)
Me: Thank you for helping me out!
lilgirl05: You're welcome!:)
So there you have it folks some of you like the NEW and some think THE OLD ID GOLD! Personally I like the new because you can still access the old by clicking on the No Store icon at the bottom of the malls listings page, And you can search for thing in case you are not totally sure of the names! Plus it gives you a more realistic way of shopping in Whyville!
My comments to Akbar are, "I think you are doing great, and I give you credit for being so quick with everything you do! Some of us Whyvillians don't know how much work you have cut out for you! Thanks!"
Well this is nicit saying goodbye and signing off...

I've been asking many people in Whyville what they think as far as the new mall is concerned, and I've found that despite the polls and all, well, many people don't like it. They've called it "confusing" most of the time (other people have called it dumb and stupid, but I'm not writing this article to down the whole idea). Many people (including my self) don't like it... personally, I liked it before, when you could find ALL made parts in alphabetical order. You could go up to someone and just ask what letter they found the part under, and then hunt it down yourself.
I interviewed a local Whyvillian about the matter (she asked if her named not be revealed) and here's what she had in mind: "I don't like the mall, and neither do a lot of my friends. It's too confusing and I don't want to make parts for someone else's shop, nor do I want to make a whole shop worth of stuff. The way it was, I could make one part for myself and get money for it. I don't want to make a part from someone else's shop, I want to make parts for myself and for the people who buy them. The mall is very disorganized compared to the way it was. If I could, I would beg City Hall to change it back. Either that, or put the old Akbar's AND a mall."
So as you can see, she doesn't like the way the mall is now, and according to my Q's and A's to and from people, many others don't like it (I'm guessing the majority of Whyville doesn't). There are many people out there begging City Hall to please change the mall back to good ol' Akbar's, including myself and friends, and through these times I hope that the people that are against the whole new mall are heard and something is done to support their feelings.

Hey all my fellow Whyvillians! This is fire69 reporting. I have been
interviewing around Whyville about the new mall. There are many
different opinions out there -- I managed to get three
Whyvillians to loan me their time so I could report to all you. This is what
they had to say:
Me: What do you think of the new mall?
CRAZZY: It's cool, but I thought it would be different, like you could see
the stores as if they were really there.
Me: Do you enjoy shopping there?
CRAZZY: Yes I do. It's better to find things and I like the search.
Me: What do you think about how there is no A parts through Z parts?
CRAZZY: It's okay, I don't mind it.
Me: What do you think of the new mall?
Sweety101: I think it's great. But I wish it wasn't just Akbar's, but like a
3-D mall and there would be places you could walk into.
Me: Do you enjoy shopping there?
Sweety101:Yeah, it's so cool!
Me: What do you think of the new mall?
Schleinie: I don't like it as much as I used to like the shop before.
Me: Do you enjoy shopping there?
Schleinie: It's confusing.
Well, there you have it. They wish it were 3-D! This is fire69, signing off!
