I was enjoying my visit to Akabar's Face mall, but I noticed something . . . everyone was copyrighting other people's work, and I wanted to know what other Whyvillians think about this! Enjoy.
In my opinion, this shouldn't be allowed. Someone may have worked hard on creating a face part, but then someone copyrights it and it is no longer "one" or "unique". And, they may loose a lot of business if they other person makes theirs cheaper (which isn't the main concern).
I wanted to know some people's opinions, so I decided to interview some people on this topic.
First I went to South Beach and found shorty779.
Girl4God2: Have you ever seen something that was copyrighted?
shorty779: Uh I don't think so.
Girl4God2: Do you think they should make copyrighting against the rules?
shorty779: No, I don't.
Girl4God2: Why?
shorty779: I don't think it is right to break the rules.
Next, I went to the Bazaar and found 89Cheer89!
Girl4God2: Have you ever seen something that was copyrighted?
89Cheer89: Um, I think so.
Girl4God2: Do you think they should make copyrighting against the rules?
89Cheer89: Well, it seems quite unfair when someone steals someone else's ideas.
Last I went to Club Scion and found gage61!
Girl4God2: Have you ever seen something that was copyrighted?
gage61: Actually no, I haven't. But I have heard a lot about how bad it is.
Girl4God2: Do you think they should make copyrighting against the rules?
gage61: Yes.
Girl4God2: Why?
gage61: Copyrighting is bad and people shouldn't copy other people's work.
There you go Whyville, the word from the street!
What do you think about copyrighting? Should it stay or go? Please comment in the BBS!
