Hello, people of Whyville! Today I am nominating someone very awesome for WITS. He's nice. Yes, but that's not why I'm nominating him. He's really smart, but still, that's not why I'm nominating him. "Who is it?" you may ask. You're probably dying to know by now. Well, fine, I'll tell you. This week the WITS is . . . tokyo1!
Since all you readers seem to be so impressed by Whyville standings, I'll tell you some non-personal stuff about him before I get to the good stuff. Nick has been on Whyville since October of 2006. And he's logged on over 1070 days! He owns 6 cars, and his salary is 130 clams a day. He is also a Y-mail Helper.
Aside from being a cool guy all around, Nick is a very dedicated Whyvillian. He does what he can to help Whyville. He is so dedicated that when he grows up, he wants to be a City Worker! He would be a great City Worker, he's very computer-smart, helpful and takes the time to explain all the technical stuff, that if you're like me, goes past your head. He's written his share of articles and holds the title "Whyville Photographer" in the Times. He's also great at making websites and such. I've been to some, and they're very well made and he keeps the site very nice. He also helps keep the site safe and running properly by telling a City Worker whenever he finds a glitch in something.
Nick has lots of Whyville friends, so I asked a few of them to say a thing or two about Nick and why he might deserve WITS.
Lolypop93: Nick is an awesome person/friend. He helps you when you're down, and he makes everyone on Whyville welcome. He really cares about Whyville, so there's no doubt that he should be nominated for WITS!!!
Rex13: Nick is a great person for the WITS, because he is so up to date with EVERYTHING that goes on in Whyville.
ps2man1: He's very good with tech things and he will ALWAYS help you if you need it. And he's there to make fun of and he doesn't care.
legoz13: Well Nick is a great guy, he always tells me new stuff about Whyville when I don't have time to come to the MTM :-P But I will never forget when I met him ;-)
tfklover: Don't even know where to start. Nick is just the kind of guy that takes a while to get to know, but once ya do, he'll do anything for you :) He's thoughtful and of course, he knows everything about Whyville that you could ever even want to learn, which makes him pretty awesome. :)
As you can see, Nick is one of the most dedicated Whyvillians out there and, in no doubt, deserves this. So, here's to Nick!
