Reading, sleeping and then more reading. That's all my friend does. Non-stop reading. 24/7 she reads, not knowing the consequences she's going to have. My friend has always enjoyed reading fantasy books. Me, well I never really liked reading. Especially large books with absolutely no pictures. Grade 5 was a breakthrough for me. My teacher made us read every day for about 20 minutes. At first I thought this was absurd. Now, I am terribly grateful for her. She has gone to another school, but I still remember the librarian that would be a tremendous teacher in the school. Hello, this is Nateenka, signing in.
Yes, this is my new series. I did not have a clue on what else to write about. Everything that came to mind vanished into thin air just as I started to type it. So, I decided to write about my favorite authors, or some kind of authors that I have read about in the past or recently. I have adapted my friends' urge to read. I try to read at least half an hour a day. If not, I try to regain the loss I had for the next day.
My first author starts with an A. Ann M. Martin is her name. She makes "The Baby-Sitters Club" books. They used to be my favorite! Now, they're too short for my liking. Still, they are magnificent. I loved them once but that doesn't mean I don't love them anymore.
This is one of the books made by Ann M. Martin.
Ann M. Martin is a wonderful author. You should read some of her books. Maybe even "The Baby-Sitters Club" books. They are quite entertaining.
Ann Martin started writing these baby-sitting books because of her childhood memories and experiences. She wrote them because she did actually baby-sit when she was a child.
Ann Martin is one of my favorite authors. She is wonderful at writing books. Without her, I may have not started my reading habit which has lead me to greatness upon educational needs. Well, I would like to say that I have gotten smarter from reading. Just like my father says "the more you read, the better you will be at everything".
This has been Nateenka, reporting on a marvelous author, signing off.
