Ah . . . I love the smell of books in the morning. To me, as to many others, there's nothing more seductive.

Even more seductive than that, in my opinion, is the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. They are my favorite book series. Ever. Period. End of story.

Those of you who know me know that I don't obsess easily. "Twilight" is the one thing that I remember ever feeling the level of passion I do about. Call me strange, but it's the absolute truth.

I don't even know why I like it so much; or, more specifically, I cannot pinpoint a single reason. I love the way I can relate to the narrator. I love the way that Stephenie Meyer makes it IMPOSSIBLE for you to put the book down. I love the way it hooks you from the first page. I love the way she writes; Stephenie Meyer has a unique, dramatic style that makes even some of the most boring scenes exciting.

I'll come right out and say it. I want to be Stephenie Meyer. I want her talent, I want her imagination, her ability to make the story so much more than words on a page.

The story begins when Isabella, who prefers to be called Bella, Swan moves away from beautiful, sunny Pheonix to small, rainy Forks, WA, to live with her dad. Starting at Forks High School would have been hard enough, even if Bella hadn't met Edward Cullen.

Edward is Bella's gorgeous, brilliant, and menacing Biology partner, who, for no discernible reason, hates her. If the term "if looks could kill" held any meaning, Bella Swan would've died right then and there.

Bella's relationship with Edward is complicated and, more than anything, confusing. Edward does a wide range of strange things from saving her under impossible circumstances one minute to treating her like a total pariah the next.

Soon enough, however, Bella learns that Edward has a secret that could very well be the end of both herself and this mysterious beautiful boy.

And that's only the FIRST book!

There are two other in the series thus far; "New Moon, and "Eclipse." There is a fourth one coming out (if we're lucky) this fall called "Breaking Dawn." Mrs. Meyer has also announced that there will be a fifth book, which is really the first book from Edward Cullen's point of view.

And, even more excitingly, the "Twilight" movie comes out later this year. Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson star side-by-side as the famous couple.

I will conclude with a simple statement of fact: You are definitely missing out on something marvelous if you do not read this series. Trust me, this is not something you want to miss out on.

Well, the is sims2girl,off re-read "Twilight" for the millionth time.
