Hello one, hello all! Stunnna here, with an article all about our dear friend criticism. So let's take a dip into the world of criticism and see what we can conclude.

So, what's criticisim?

Feedback . . . opinions . . . CRITICISM! Criticism is all about how you word it. To be taken seriously, you'll need to do your best with grammar, spelling, etc. So, if I were to receive criticism to an article with a format such as this, "yo, da articel waz kinda cule but u no i dint like da endeng tat much." I wouldn't even take it to thought. Whereas if I were to receive criticism to an article with a format such as this, "The article was pretty good. However, the ending could use some work. Better luck next time." I would actually take such to thought.

How do I give this "criticism"?

Easy! But we'll do this step by step:
Step 1. Find something to criticize. (A product, an article, etc.)
Step 2. Look at its strong points and weak points.
Step 3. LET IT ALL OUT!
Yes, yes it's as easy as that. 3 simple steps and you're on your way to become one fly critique!

So am I done?

Not quite yet. Now that you've written your feedback, you'll need to proofread it. As I said before, if you want to be taken seriously, you'll have to do your best to make your spelling and grammar the best that you possibly can. So look it over. Keep an open eye for flaws of any kind. After you've done that, proofread it again to make sure that if you're leaving negative feedback that it's appropriate and not too harsh. So instead of saying this, "The article stunk! Your plot was sketchy, your details fiercely moving in and out of topic, and your overall voice is extremely weak! I hope for the good of humanity you never write again!" You should say this, "The article wasn't the greatest, but kudos for trying. The plot was a tad sketchy, and you should try making your details fit together. Your writing style shows you can make your overall voice much stronger than it was, so better luck next time!" Feedback with this format encourages the writer to try harder next time, and doesn't put them down.

So . . . am I done now?

Yep, yep! It looks to me as if you're done! Now press post and move on with your insanely professional criticizing skills!

Until next time,
Stunnna
