Hello, this is jank03 signing on to talk to a Whyville City Worker. Earlier this week I caught up with one well known City Worker by the name of AMae.

This fantastic City Worker has visited Whyville 391 days since Monday Jul 25, 2005. She earns 61 clams per day and rents space in a house owned by CiaoBella at Napier & Durer in Old Town. She also owns two scions.

Jank03: Hello, and thank-you so much for taking this interview! My first question is how did you get into Whyville?
AMae: I found out about Whyville while I was working at my college job. I was looking for another opportunity and my boss knew the makers of the company. They were looking for CW's at the time, and so I applied.
Jank03: WOW, that is very cool! After working at Whyville for such a long time, do you actually enjoy it?
AMae: I love my job. I've been doing it for almost 2 and a half years and it keeps getting better. I have a full time job that do during the week and yet I've still kept working for Whyville because I love it so much.
Jank03: I am sure many people are very jealous of you at the moment, having such a wonderful job. During the course at Whyville have you met any friends?
AMae: I have a few friends on Whyville. Most of them are fellow CW's but there are some citizens who I chat with every now and then. It is hard because most of my time on the site is spent working.
Jank03: I suppose missing out on that time is all worth it in the end! Well we have just reached 2008 and most people are setting goals and promises, though are you looking forward to this year?
AMae: 2008 is going to be a great year. I have so many things planned for Whyville and it is an exciting year in my own life.
Jank03: You seem like a very busy person, and a happy one at that! But being a City Worker you would have to feel some pressure, wouldn't you?
AMae: I wouldn't say I feel pressure being a CW, but it can get hard at times. You want everyone to be happy and enjoy Whyville, but sometimes that is impossible. You just have to do what you think is best and hope the citizens like it.
Jank03: And my last question today is that what do you think of the current Whyville Times Writers? And what do you think of the Times itself?
AMae: I think the Times Writers are doing a fantastic job. In the last year I feel the Times has improved 10-fold. I love the creativity in the Entertainment Section and I also love to see new writers pop up.
Jank03: Well thanks for your time and a great interview!

Ok, well that was when I caught with AMae earlier this week. Thanks for reading and see you next time.

This is jank03, typing a storm!
