Hi Whyvillains, boots1094 here and interviewing mallymomo about being the new YHelper of the Month for the first time in about eight months, so let's get started.
boots1094: Thanks for taking time to let me interview you. How does it feel to knock sweeetie2 off of being YHelper of the Month?
mallymomo: Well sweeetie2 was the YHelper of the Month for eight (I think) months in a row and it was quite an accompaniment and I feel very good. Also sweeetie2 and I are very close.
boots1094: How does it feel being YHelper of the Month?
mallymomo: It feels awesome; every time I walk into the Newbie Center people are always saying "Congrats". Sweeetie had been YHelper of the Month, I think, close to 8 months. After accomplishing becoming a y-mail helper that felt awesome let alone one month later becoming helper of the month. Sweeetie2 is such a good friend and her name explains it all. She was just truly amazing cheering me on all the way.
boots1094: So what are you going to do with your FREE one month Why-Pass?
mallymomo: Well, it's actually quite funny. My Why-Pass was going to expire in April so now it's extended to May. So that's nice :). I am gonna keep trying to get better at face part designing.
boots1094: So are you going to try to be YHelper of the Month next month too?
mallymomo: Yes, it's fun. I don't want to like hog the position either . . . but it would definitely be in my hopes. :D
boots1094: How many hours are you planning to go for this month?
mallymomo: Hmmm. I'm not quite sure, I'm just gonna try to put as much time as possible into this without it crossing from "Virtual World" to "Real life".
boots1094: Do you like being a y-mail helper?
mallymomo: Yes, I love it. I love helping Whyvillians. Especially new ones, and old ones . . . let's just say I love using my knowledge to help people get farther.
boots1094: How was being a y-mail helper at first?
mallymomo: Fun, LoL actually I didn't know what to do with myself. I probably like spent five hours at the Newbie Center the first day.
boots1094: Is being a y-mail helper fun?
mallymomo: Oh yes, very fun and rewarding job.
boots1094: So do you think you are doing good with the people in Whyville?
mallymomo: Yea, they seem to take my help very well. I try to explain it really easy and how I would understand it when I was new. Honestly, not too long ago I knew how it felt to be the new person. I remember wearing certain things that I know I wouldn't think twice about wearing in real life. So I know how they feel, it's really easy relating to what they go through.
