"Taste of Chaos is like a big ball of fun, rock and sweat. A lot of sweat!" Emmy's dear friend, Ray.

"Projekt Rev . . . it's a great way to spend the summer." Gerard Way

(Hey . . . Leo . . . where's Taking Back Sunday quotes? If I recall, they were on Projekt Rev last year!)

Welcome back, children, to Soyer (Kaila) and Leo's (Emmy) classroom of everything tours. Today we have two tours that might even top last weeks, and Warped Tour and Bros in the Snow were hard to beat, you have to admit. If you've figured it out by the above quotes or were bored by this intro and scrolled down to the lower half of the article, then you already know that this week we are talking about . . .

TADA!

Projekt Revolution and the famed Taste of Chaos tours! So shall we get started, or drag this out a little more, Soyer?

PROJEKT REV

Personally, Leo, I think we should get started so that we don't lose the interest of the many short-attention-spanned kids out there! Like myself. So, thanks, Leo, and here's Projekt Rev!

Projekt Rev is where I wish I was last year when Taking Back Sunday was in it, mainly because that was one of the last tours that TBS did with Fred Mascherino. So sad, I know.

Anyway, the official list from this year's Projekt Rev hasn't been released . . . we only know that Linkin Park will lead, because, hey, it's their tour after all! Because we don't have a list, here's last year's line up:

- Linkin Park - My Chemical Romance - Taking Back Sunday - HIM - Placebo - Julien-K - Mindless Self Indulgence - Saosin - The Bled - Styles of Beyond - Madina Lake - Art of Chaos

Up until last year, Projekt Rev was only a US tour, but last year they added Toronto to the list of cities they would go to.

TASTE OF CHAOS

Ah, the Taste of Chaos. What a wonderful tour it is. It's been called "Winter Warped" by many, because although Taste of Chaos and Warped Tour share many things in common, Taste of Chaos plays the winter dates, going from late October to around April.

The Taste of Chaos tour was started by Kevin Lyman, who also started Warped Tour (told you they were similar) in the winter of 2004. Taste of Chaos is fairly new to the scene, but there has been an incredible hype about it. Even though Taste of Chaos is young, it's serviced many good bands like The Used, Killswitch Engage, Story of the Year, Rise Against, Deftones, Thrice, Thursday, My Chemical Romance, Silverstein, Chiodos, Senses Fail, Saosin and The Receiving End of Sirens. In almost four short years, Taste of Chaos has had some of the most amazing line-ups around.

Taste of Chaos is unique in the sense that, on a normal show day, the sets start with a local battle of the Bands. The winner of the BOTB gets to play a thirty minute set. Pretty cool, huh? We think so. Unlike Warped Tour, where all the bands playing get equal playing time, Taste of Chaos works it differently. The support bands play a 30-35 minute set and the headliners of that years tour would play a 45-60 minute set.

Taste of Chaos shows off some of the best and not-so-well-known post-hardcore bands out there. Although that is what Taste of Chaos usually caters to, there are many different genres of bands that hop onto the Taste of Chaos tour. What about 2008's line-up? I'm glad you asked, because it is an excellent one, my friends.

This year's line-up includes:

- Avenged Sevenfold - Atreyu - Idiot Pilot - MUCC - The Underneath - D?espairsRay - Bullet For My Valentine - Bless the Fall

Pretty amazing line-up, yes? We knew you would agree. :P

Hmm . . . Personally, I don't think I would even go to Taste of Chaos this next winter, mainly because I'm not too into those bands . . . Maybe I'll go to Projekt Rev is TBS is on it (But they won't, because they'll probably be touring with a smaller group to promote their new album, yay!)

So how about it, Whyvillians? Would you attend these tours, or would you rather watch the YouTube cell phone videos instead? Hmm . . .

Well, guys, that's all Leo and Soyer have for you this week. We'll be back next week with two more tours that we're sure that you'll enjoy! Yeah, yeah! You're excited!

PS: Soyer says: "Semi-Pro still doesn't have a rating and I still don't have anyone to go to Bros in the Snow Tour with!"
PPSS: Leo would say in a situation like this "Hmm . . . I'm sorry, Soyer."
PPPSSS: Soyer says: "It's okay, Leo. If you lived anywhere near me, we would SO go together!"
PPPPSSSS: Leo would say: "Yes! We would be tour buddies!"

(Soyer had to improvise and think really hard on what she thinks Leo would actually say, seeing as how she hasn't been online since Superbowl Sunday. Uh . . . and Soyer also dislikes the Giants a LOT and so think that the Patriots should have won.)
