Hi, fellow Times readers! I'm Lovely432, back with the third article for the column. I hope you like the artists I have today. I know I do! I personally think that they're both awesome in their own unique way!
Now, start your engines, because here we go!
First, I like to introduce you to (drum roll please) . . . Orba Squara! First of all, Orba Squara is not a band. It is actually the stage name of Mitch Davis. Mitch Davis is a New York singer and songwriter. Orba Squara, or Mitch Davis, already released a full-length album called Sunshyness in 2006. It includes four songs, "All Around the World", "Gravel", "My Favorite Song", "So Comfortable", and "Perfect Timing (This Morning)".
Many of his songs have appeared in commercials for a company called Orange outside the United States. He is not very well known and few people have heard of him. However, many of us have probably heard his song, "Perfect Timing (This Morning)", since it appeared in the popular commercial for Apple's iPhone. Orba Squara uses a variety of different instruments in his songs, such as the ukulele, the harmonica, the violin, the glockenspiel, the xylophone, and the mandolin. Orba Squara is a very unique artist. His songs are pretty uplifting and cheerful and his voice is soft and different-sounding. I recommend people who like happy songs full of many instrumental sounds to listen to Orba Squara. You'll really like him!
The next band on the list is (dramatic music plays) . . . Young Love! Young Love is an electronic rock band from New York City. It was created in 2005. Members of Young Love include Dan Keyes, Bob Mann, Terry, Ross, and Erik. Dan Keyes is the band's lead vocals, and he handles most of the productions and songwriting. The band released its first album, Too Young to Fight It, on January 30th, 2007.
Too Young to Fight It included some of Young Love's popular songs such as "Discotech", "Too Young to Fight It", "Find A New Way", "Close Your Eyes", and "Tragedy". The album has nine songs in all. The song "Find A New Way" also served as the theme song for the network reality show "DanceLife". Young Love is a really good band! Their songs are catchy, creative, and easy to dance to. It is also said that some of their songs, such as "Find A New Way", have a unique 1980s vibe to them. If you like electronic dance-rock music with a 1980s twist here and there, you'll definitely like Young Love's songs!
