Editor's Note: This article is Msof57's opinion on religion. Since this is a personal and sometimes controversial subject, I remind everyone to be respectful in the BBS.

I don't care if we get a president that is Muslim. I don't care that my partner in math is Jewish. I don't care that my neighbor is Buddhist.

I know I have already written an article on religion (article ID: 8020 "Petitions and Religion"). And I'm not afraid to say "I hate religion."

I watch "Little House on the Prairie" everyday when I get home from school. Why? I don't know. In one of the episodes a Christian girl, Nellie, marries Percival (or Isaac) a Jewish man. Their parents meet while Nellie is pregnant and they argue over Nellie's baby's religion. I love what Percival says to the parents, "Is this what religion is all about? Anger? Fighting? Hatred? Well, if it is, Nellie and I don't want to be apart of it." The episode is called, "Come, Let Us Reason Together." I love it.

I am a Christian. I am a Methodist.

Or am I? Do I WANT to follow the Methodist's beliefs in God? Yes, no, maybe so?

I really don't care if you're Jewish about to attend your Bat Mitzvah. I don't care if you worship on Saturdays. I don't care if you don't have a religion at all. I only care that you are a kind person.

I am sick and TIRED of all the big headed Christians out there! I'm tired of everyone who thinks their religion is the best! When you shame people for their religion, you only make them STRONGER. You make their beliefs shine. Jews have been shunned and tortured for their beliefs. They were sent to the GHETTO and CONCENTRATION CAMPS because they were not Christian in the 1940's. People were burned at the STAKES in the Dark Ages because they did not believe in the Catholic church.

Will someone open up our minds and point out their is more religion than beyond our fat heads? Each religion, is beautiful and sacred in its each and own way.

Religion is the most beautiful and disgusting thing in the whole world.

WHO CARES if Barack Obama DID swear over the Quran? I think he will be a wonderful president if he wins the election.

I am only 13. I don't know how the world works. I don't even know why the sky is blue. But I do think I know a lot more about religion than most grown adults.

So let's look beyond our fat heads and see the world as it truly is.

Stop thinking your religion is best.

Author's Note: I do not apologize for anything I said except that if I shunned your religion in anyway.
