What did you learn from past "Flawed Fashion" articles? Everyone has flaws and sometimes these flaws are what make us beautiful. So far I have written about Whyvillians' clothing which is based on real life. I have also written about celebrities and their nightmare invoking red carpet styles. But this week I am getting to the root of the clothing problem; I am investigating designers and where their ideas derive from.

These are some of the hideous styles featured in 2008's Fashion Week held across the world. Designers need to be inspired and the designers who created the following outfits outfits drew their inspiration from everyday items. The outfits were shown in America, Milan, London and Paris which are considered the fashion capitals of the world. Do you think they are tres chic or tres eek?

Beautiful Bath Wear or Office Scare?

This might be one of the most inexpensive outfits on the runway. However I don't think any women will actually convert their bathroom wardrobe as their everyday wardrobe.

'WOOL' You DisCARD This?

This outfit was influenced by two everyday items; playing cards and colorful wool. But these two items go together like an eggplant with orange juice.

Freaky Flowered Frock

Artists use nature and plants to inspire their beautiful drawings. I can't say the same about the designer who was inspired by purple flowers to create this petal-like dress.

Garbage Bag or Garbage Gag?

Eek Chic? Though the model is gorgeous, the black garbage bag is not. Hopefully clothing will exist for a very long time, preventing women from being forced to wear garbage bags.

Move like a Moose

Which woman would want to be seen wearing a moose on their head? Don't worry, no white moose were harmed during the making of this dress.

Stick Wearing Sticks

The inspiration for this poncho was drawn from wreaths. But wreaths do not belong on people, they belong on doors.

Quilt Creation or Abomination?

Quilts are similar to blankets; they are both used to keep us warm. However they're not something to wear, they're something to cover ourselves with. This model needs a large blanket to cover this outfit.

Wacky Wafer

Wafers are a popular, delicious dessert. I doubt women will wear a favorite snack because it does not look beautiful . . . or delicious. As the old saying goes, "That's the way the cookie crumbles."

Gorgeous Glitches

The following two ensembles were considered wacky. But I think they are gorgeous because they are extremely similar to what we normally wear and because they seem like costumes. The garbs are very eye-catching and attractive. Though most women would not wear this in real life, they might consider imitating these styles for extravagant evens such as theater productions.

I personally thought that some of these designs were a little over the top and the audiences at the Fashion Weeks would definitely agree with me. Fashions are always exaggerated on runways because designers enjoy creating outfits from their imagination. That is one of the four words that describe fashion: imagination, inspiration, creation and duplication. But would you copy any of these fashions by wearing them in real life?
