To recap, last week I wrote a "Flawed Fashion" article about the horrible celebrity styles at the 2008 Academy Awards. It is a little impossible to think that with the help of fashion designers, jewelery makers, sponsors, stores, stylists and makeup artists that celebrities would have such horrendous styles at glamorous events. However the article was a little sexist because I only used women to get my point across. So back by popular demand is the sequel to last week's article.
At most awards ceremonies, men dress alike. They wear expensive tuxedos accessorized with a tie. Men can't really make a fashion statement because the outcome would be horrible. Imagine this: a blue suit at the Oscars. That outfit would definitely get on the Worst Dressed List of the year. But I was able to find two male celebrities who weren't as presentable as they could be.
Daniel Day-Lewis - While picking this outfit, Daniel Day-Lewis must have been watching the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. His gold hoop and brown peg-leg colored boots are a dead-ringer for Jack Sparrow!
Wesley Snipes - This is an excellent example of a statement gone wrong. Wesley's attempt to be different was certain achieved, but it wasn't the 'unique' different. Wesley was as noticeable as a grape in a jewelery box. Or this case a washed grape at a fashionable event.
Since there were only two male stars who I thought were the worst dressed, I decided to include popular male and female starlets whose looks Whyvillians could imitate.
The Boys
Johnny Depp is a very popular star and celebrity crush among girls. Will Whyvillan boys be able to charm the chics like Johnny can?
Justin Timberlake's fashion sense seems to be classy with an edge. The light blue sweater makes Justin look gentle but the dark fedora adds mystery.

I'm sure you've noticed that I've used these celebrities in past "Flawed Fashion" articles. I decided to re-use them because in the past, I mocked Whyvillians' flawed styles on their faces. I did not mean to say that these celebrities have horrible style, so I wanted to prove my point by featuring their fashions for Whyvillians to copy. Judging by the positive comments in the BBS, these Academy Awards articles seemed to be quite popular. Perhaps if there is another awards show, I will continue writing them.
