In the Hollywood world, there are many starlets that look alike. I decided to feature them in an article. But looking at an article only with celebrities' pictures would be a little droning to read. Therefore I am also including their mini biographies that explain how they gained their celebrity status. These similar faces will make you think you're seeing double!
Kate Hudson - Kate Garry Hudson is the daughter of famous actress Goldie Hawn. Kate was born in April 19th, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. After graduating high school, Kate followed in her mother's footsteps and decided to pursue a career in acting. Her big breakthrough came in 2000 in which Kate played 'Penny Lane' in Almost Famous.
Amanda Michalka - Amanda Joy Michalka was born on April 10th, 1991 in Torrance, California. She began studying acting when she was 9 years old and was approached by an agent at a church musical. The agent recommended that she audition for a national commercial-- and Amanda successfully booked it. Though Amanda is continuing to work as an actress, she is also a professional model and accomplished singer, musician and songwriter. Amanda has been on many ads and magazine covers. She can play both the piano and guitar, and she and her sister Alyson Michalka are in a girl group called "Aly & AJ." Both the sisters collaborate in writing songs for their CDs.
Ashley Benson - Ashley Victoria Benson came into the world on December 18th, 1989 at Long Beach, California. She has been a competitive dancer since the age of 2 and has sang since she was 5. When she was 8 years old, Ashley was signed with the Ford Modeling Agency. 2 years later Ashley began studying acting and has been in 35 commercials. Now Ashley is focusing on expanding her acting career.
Taylor Momsen - The 'Gossip Girl' actress was born in July 26th 1993, at St. Louis Missouri. Taylor began acting when she was 3 years old. However her breakthrough role was playing Cindy Lou in the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Taylor took a break from acting but she has returned, and can be seen on the the hit CW show "Gossip Girl".
Diablo Cody - Brooke Busey was born on June 14th in Chicago, Illinois but currently she goes by the name 'Diablo Cody.' When she moved to Minnesota to be with her online boyfriend Jon, Diablo became a stripper. However when they got married and moved to a respected neighborhood, Diablo quit being a stripper. Diablo began writing books and made a name for herself online through her many blogs. Recently she wrote the screenplay of the hit movie Juno and she became known internationally.
Zooey Deschanel - Zooey Claire Deschanel was born on January 17th, 1980 in Los Angeles, California. Zooey's Parents Caleb and Mary Jo Deschanel are successful actors and Zooey was encouraged to take up acting. Zooey earned her big break playing a model in the TV show "Veronica's Closet". In her spare time, Zooey enjoys singing which can be featured in some of her movies.
Emily Deschanel - Born on October 11 1976 in Los Angeles, California, Emily Erin Deschanel is the older sister of Zooey Deschanel. Emily was also encouraged to become an actress and made a name for herself by playing Cassie Germaine in the TV show "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit".
Keri Russell - Keri Lynn Russell ws born on March 23, 1976 in Fountain Valley, California. At the age of 15 Keri auditioned for and was successfully accepted to be in the "Mikey Mouse Club". A few years later she moved to Los Angeles to become an actress. Keri became an international star by playing Felicity Porter on the hit show "Felicity."
Meryl Streep - Mary Louise Streep entered the world on June 22nd, 1949 at Summit, New Jersey. While attending Vasser High School she took an interest in acting and later attended the Yale School of Drama. She then moved to Los Angeles to become an actress and began her outstanding career. Through she turns 59 this year, Meryl is still continuing her career.
Jennifer Ehle - Jennifer Ehle was born on December 29th, 1969 at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Jennifer is the daughter of actress Rosemary Harris, who continually persuaded Jennifer to take up acting. After a long career as a TV show actress, Jennifer was finally known to the international audience when she appeared in the movie Pride & Prejudice.
As you can see I wanted to include actresses from a variety of generations, because Hollywood is not only dominated by Disney starlets. There are also many numerous celebrities that look alike and I will feature them in a sequel to this article, in the coming weeks.
