Harry Potter Crave

Hi, all you Whyvillians!

I am here for a review on a book series called Harry Potter which I am advising you to read. I am going to tell you about the author. It is written by J. K. Rowling.

J. K. Rowling used to be a poor woman, but now she is a multi-millionare. Know how? This story will tell you all about it:

One day, J. K. Rowling was walking into a local cafe. She had just been fired. She had a few pieces of paper in her pocket. On those scraps of paper, she wrote the beginning of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". She submitted her ideas and soon got an award from the Scottish Arts Council, encouraging her to write the rest of the book. They also gave her enough money for making it. With that, she became rich (and famous, not to mention)!

I think these are terrific books and that you should definitely go to your local library and check it out. But still, you may not agree. I will tell you about the stories.

Harry Potter Playing Quidditch -- by Pego
The story I am first reviewing is "Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone". This story is about a magical boy who survived the evil Voldemort who killed his mom and dad and was put on his aunt and uncle's doorstep. He was raised there, but he didn't enjoy it. His aunt and uncle were mean, and their little boy Dudly was worse. Soon he is eleven, and gets a letter inviting him to a wizard and witch school called Hogwarts. He gets really excited, and soon he learns that he has some adventures in his path, while meeting new friends on the way.

The second book I will tell you about is "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". Harry is twelve now, and he can't wait until the school year comes. Soon it is time to go to Hogwarts, and he is stopped by a little house elf named Dobby. Soon, he and his friends hear a legend about the Chamber of Secrets. They're getting more and more questions to answer and choices to make.

The third and last Harry Potter book is "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" where Harry is thirteen and he and his friends find out that a criminal (to both muggles and Magicfolk) called Serius Black is loose. Later in the book, Harry finds out that his long-loved parents were friends with him. More and more Harry's curiosity grows and soon he finds himself face-to-face with Black. Find out more by reading "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".

In April 8, 2000, there will be another book by J.K. Rowling, called "Harry Potter and the Doomspell Tournament". Don't Miss Out!

Bye from Pego, The Book-Worm
