Welcome to my new series called "What's YOUR Opinion". This series is, obviously, about what Whyvillians think about anything, and I mean ANYTHING. I'm starting off my series with Miley Cyrus, who, as we know, is always in the limelight. There are mixed feelings with Miley Cyrus, possibly because of her 'scandalous' photos that have been leaked on the Internet.
Many would say she "screeches her hill-billy voice", yet many would say "she's one of the best singers out there!" That's why "What's YOUR Opinion" is such a splendid way to get several opinions on one subject. Some you may not agree with a Whyvillian . . . while, some of you might jump out of your chair and say "AMEN!"
Biography:
In Franklin Tennessee, on November 23, 1992, Destiny Hope Cyrus was born to Trish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. She was named Destiny Hope, because her father believed that it was her destiny to bring hope to the world. Destiny's nickname soon became smiley though, because she smiled so much as a child. Later on, they kicked off the 'S' and just called her Miley. Miley has three step-siblings: Christopher Cody, Trace, and Brandi. Miley, also, has two blood-related siblings: Noah and Braison Chace. She grew up on a farm, just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and has a noticeable Southern-accent.
Miley was always very into performing. When she was little, she would go on stage when her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, was singing and she would sing, too. Although her father didn't approve of her singing, or acting, when she was little, he was over-ruled by his wife, Tish, and Miley. Miley's first acting role was in the movie Big Fish, where she played 'Ruthie'. Later in life, she was in a music video performed by Rhonda Vincent, titled "If Heartaches Have Wings". Throughout her cameos, her big break was when she was 12 and auditioned for the Disney series "Hannah Montana". Miley was notified, a few months later, that she had received the part of Hannah.
Little did the Cyrus's know that playing the star in "Hanah Montana" would make their little girl one of the most popular artist, possibly, since Elvis Presley. Her concerts have sold out within 20 minutes, her first Disney album, Hannah Montana, sold a whopping 3,500,000 copies (and that's only on the Billboard 100), and her second album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, did nothing, but succeed far more than expected. Also, her digital 3D movie The Best Of Both Worlds: Concert Tour made over a stunning 31,000,000 . . . in the first WEEK.
Miley was given the reputation of a 'good girl', but that soon changed as inappropriate photos leaked all over the Internet. Miley has apologized numerous times for these photos, but it would appear that with each apology, another photo is leaked. Earlier this month, photos of Miley Cyrus, which were professionally done, hit everywhere. "I have disappointed some of my fans, but, most importantly, I have disappointed myself." said Miley Cyrus about her racy Vanity Fair spread, where she appears to be topless. To many, this was the final straw, but to a few, she is still admired.

The first person to be interviewed about Miley Cyrus is ConorLuvr.
CupOfCake: What's your full-on opinion of Miley Cyrus?
ConorLuvr: Personally, I don't think she became famous on her own. I think her dad got her up there and people liked her. I think she was boosted into the celebrity life way too fast.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her vocals?
ConorLuvr: I think she sings very well.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her style?
ConorLuvr: I think her style is new, and I really like it. But, the child's clothing line isn't my favorite.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on those photos that 'leaked' on to the Internet?
ConorLuvr: I think it's normal for some teenagers to do that. It was just a random thing she did, and it was taken the wrong way. It was meant for her and her friends eyes only.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her Disney series "Hannah Montana"?
ConorLuvr: I really like it. I know it's kind of meant for little kids, but, at 13, I love watching it. And my friend, at 15, still loves watching it.
CupOfCake: In your opinion, is Miley Cyrus one of your favorite teen pop stars?
ConorLuvr: Is there really that many? Hahaha, just kidding. I am not sure, I think she is a good singer and has a good taste in fashion . . . but I don't think she is one of my favorites.
CupOfCake: So, from all of your answers, your opinion on Miley Cyrus is: pretty good, right?
ConorLuvr: Yeah. She might have some problems, but doesn't everybody?

LH1995XD: Eh . . . I think she's going to end up like Britney Spears.

LH1995XD: I think she can't sing.

LH1995XD: Preppy.

LH1995XD: Uh, I think she's just being a teenager.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her Disney series "Hannah Montana"?
LH1995XD: I think it's an annoying show, that SHOULD get off the air.
CupOfCake: In your opinion, is Miley Cyrus one of your least favorite teen pop stars?
LH1995XD: Yeah, pretty much.
CupOfCake: So, from all your answers, your opinion on Miley Cyrus is: bad, right?
LH1995XD: Yeah!

Rex13: Miley Cyrus is over rated.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her vocals?
Rex13: Her vocals are 'okay', but she's not amazing.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her style?
Rex13: Her style is good.

Rex13: I think she shouldn't have done it. I mean, she's not even an adult. Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, shouldn't have allowed her to do that.
CupOfCake: What's your opinion on her Disney series "Hannah Montana"?
Rex13: "Hannah Montana" is a good TV show for Disney. It's annoying to me, but yeah, good for Disney.
CupOfCake: In your opinion, is Miley Cyrus one of your least favorite teen pop stars?
Rex13: She's one of my least favorites, but the Jonas Brothers are my very-least favorite.
CupOfCake: So, your opinion on Miley Cyrus is: okay, right?
Rex13: I don't like her.
My Opinion:
I used to be a unbelievable fan of Miley, but then, as I got older, my admiration towards her soon faded away. I suppose you could say that the little admiration I had for her, was torched, after seeing all of the photos that have been taking over the Internet. I still like some of her songs, though. My favorite is "East North Thumberland High". And I still do like her style, but I don't like her decisions. I think they are setting a bad example to her younger audience, and I'm sure most parents would agree with me, on that subject. My overall opinion on Miley Cyrus is neutral.
