I am here to get your brains working today! This is my first puzzle and I hope it won't be my last. Can you guess these important people from history? A few lucky people will get prizes. Good luck.

1. This was fellow born around 580 BC. From the country that rhymes with 'seek'. He had a knack for math, and created a theorem for right triangles.

2. Now, across the seas in the U.S was a curly white haired man. The first out of about 43. It's a name of a rainy state. I wish I had more money.

3. This known person was a ruler of young age. He reigned in the Middle Kingdom. Can't guess it? Here's another hint. He lived in Egypt.

4. Thousands miles away in a galaxy . . . oh wait never mind, I'm not writing about Star Wars. Miles away a man with strong arms stepped walked on cheese.

5. This lady made history by not moving from her seat. Ooo those roses are so pretty in the park.

6. He created about the most tragic event, was a tyrant ruler and killed for religious purposes.

7. I had a weird dream last night. *wink*

8. This guy is a fantasy, but still important. He lives on a mountain, and is a brother to the ruler of the underworld. I think I will read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," by Dr. Suess

9.By sailing across the deep blue sea he discovered land and trees, but wasn't the first.

10. I mentioned his first name is the BBS. I will go pick an apple off of my tree.

Okay, shows over folks. Here are the contest rules and info.

1. You must y-mail me on Thursday or later.

2. You must y-mail me at 3:00 pm Why-time or later. I will NOT accept any others that are earlier than Thursday at 3 pm.

3. First person who y-mails me first with all correct answers will win 300 clams. Second place is 200 clams and third is 100 clams.

Think hard at these clues, but don't give away the answers! Hopefully I will have another issue next week.
