Author's Note: This article is not to make you, or force you into any religion. In my opinion, everything is true.

Time is our enemy, our victim, our superior. Time is wrapped around God's empowering, graceful hands. So you think you're perfectly healthy? You think you have it all? Wrong. A second can make a difference; in a second you could lose everything. Your possessions, life, time, curiosity can be gone before you know it. You need to be prepared for what may happen in the future.

God knows what is going to happen to you EVERY second of your life. Do you? No. You don't even know your own future. Guess what? God does. You could be utterly healthy and die. You could say, "No, ha-ha this could NEVER actually happen to me, could it?" Yes, it could. NO ONE can stand up to God's empowering hands and mind.

My best friend, Mercury, was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. She was the person who never thought it could happen to. She happen to be diagnosed with lung cancer. Daily went to chemotherapy, and went through all the side-effects. She had trivial faith in anything but the doctors and medicine. Guess what? God can help you too.

One day, she went to chemotherapy and had a severe reaction. She swelled all up, and was put on life support. To think, the day before the doctor told her parents that she would be leaving on account that she was doing excessively well. Shocked? That same day, she had went into a coma from this reaction. Still today, the doctors haven't the faintest idea what happened. Guess what? God did, and still does.

Yet again, God knows your life like the back of his mind; he has a mind like no one else. In an instant he can take your life away. BE PREPARED, since you don't know when God will take away your life. Don't be the person who thinks it can never happen to. It CAN happen to ANYONE.

After the coma, she had been progressing day by day. They gave her more "medicine" thinking it would help. It didn't help. That night we went to go visit her; she was all woozy and incoherent to the surroundings around her. It's depressing, to know that a good friend has to go through things such as this . . .

If you're wondering, yes, she believed in God. She believed in a higher power. She wasn't that strong of a Christian, though. She was just frightened, so she relied on other things. She pulled me to her bed, whispering to me, "I see light!" Guess what? It was nighttime, and the lights in the room were dimmed, almost dark. Those words . . . I gathered my thoughts as they rushed towards my mind. I began to cry excessively and couldn't stop. Her eyes closed, she took her last breath. She had passed on. So, do you want to be one of the people who think it could never happen to them? Do you want to be the person who relies on other things and not God? Yes, you can believe other things will help you, but God is the most powerful medicine of all.

I repeat. "Time is our enemy, our victim, our superior. Time is wrapped around God's empowering, graceful hands."

Journal: I am emotional. I let my tears loose, as they are pounded upon this paper I write on. God is powerful. God is endless. God is enormous. God does everything for a reason. God is my healing.

End.
