Early in the morning
When the children all wake,
They can smell the sweet smell
Of the Christmas cake!!

On the mantelpiece
The stockings all hang,
And the house all warm and cozy
As the carol singers sang!

Later when the presents they got
Were open not wrapped up,
There was one child who shouted out
Hey look what I got!! It was a colourful cup!

So I'm just saying
Enjoy what you've got,
Be thankful to who gave it to you
There're other people who don't get any presents... and you get a LOT!
