Congratulations! Your prizes should be with you right now. Now for the moment we've all been waiting for. The designer I have chosen this week has many amazing parts. This week's designer is . . . Zyrca!
Zyrca has been a citizen of Whyville since December 18th 2003. She heard about Whyville in seventh grade over four years ago. Her first account was FairyKiya, which she designed on from 2004-2006, but Zyrca is the only account that she currently designs on. She comes on Whyville at least once a week to restock her parts, but she comes on more often in the summer. Zyrca has been going to a High School of the Arts in New York City since tenth grade (she will be in twelfth grade in September). Well, we always knew she must be good at art!
Zyrca has designed parts that can only be described as amazing. Every one of her parts are perfect, especially the hair she has created. It looks beautiful. Her designs actually mostly consist of hair, but she has created some eyes and lips, plus a few assorted other things. Her parts show just how much work she puts into them.
Catwalk
I have created a person that consists entirely of Zyrca's parts. She has a very striking look, just like the real models on the catwalk. The whole look costs 258 clams, which is a lot of money for some people and hardly any for other people, but I think it is worth it.

Mermaid Magic
This hair is called Scavenger and it only costs 40 clams. This hair reminds me of mermaids. I don't know why . . . anyway it is a fantastic piece, very original and blue. And green. Turquoise? Either way it is very pretty. A lot of effort has been put into it and it doesn't disappoint. Under the sea, under the sea . . .
Interview Time!
I interviewed Zyrca to find out what she thought.
Mandarule: Do you have any other accounts?
Zyrca: This is the only account of mine that I currently design on, but before I designed on Zyrca, FairyKiya was my main account which I designed on from 2004 to 2006.
Mandarule: How often do you come on Whyville?
Zyrca: I try to come on Whyville at least once a week during the school year so I can stock my parts; I usually log on more often in the summer.
Mandarule: When did you start designing?
Zyrca: I started designing shortly after I turned 12 in early 2004 when FairyKiya was my main account.
Mandarule: How often do you make new parts?
Zyrca: It has been a while since I've submitted any new parts since my better quality hairs take several hours to make, so it's usually a few weeks between new hairs, but I sometimes make smaller parts between new hairs.
Mandarule: What is your favorite part?
Zyrca: My favorite part that I've made on Zyrca is either Aurora or StRbX, two of my most recent hairs. It was interesting to use an array of colors in a single hair rather than just three or four shades of the same color. I plan on making some more hairs similar to these over the summer.
Mandarule: Do you take inspiration for your parts from anywhere? If so, where?
Zyrca: For inspiration when I'm designing, sometimes I look at older face parts from prior to 2004 or I consult my close friends who also design: Ciaobella, Ducky464, and Mitsuy. But as of late I mostly try to design face parts in a style similar to how I paint and draw in real life.
Part of the Week
This week's part of the week is a hair called Artemis. It's a very original piece, and it's unique flowers make it very pretty. If you purchase this beautiful hair, make sure you do not clutter the rest of your avatar as this may look slightly tacky and do not wear a heavily decorated shirt and this will draw attention away from the hair. And who would want to draw attention away from such a pretty hair?
