Reality. It's something nobody wants to face, but we all must. When you think about what's going on the world, you could think about so many things. You could think about global warming, wars in Iraq, crime, world hunger, making peace in the world, and so much more.
But do know what's really devastating? The fact that so many terrible things are going on in the world, and so little people care. It literally makes me cry to think about that. Think about it, the world used to be a haven of tranquility where everything was just fine. Nobody had to worry about anything that we have to worry about now. But in the present, the world is truly in danger.
The world has given us so much. Water, shelter, a beautiful world, and so many other things that we take for granted. Now look at what it's become. It's so different, nothing like what it was in the beginning. We have changed it so much, so so much.
But do you know what I think? I know for a FACT that the world has given us so much and what have we given in return? Nothing. All we do is keep taking from the world until there's nothing left to take. Respect and care for the world is long overdue. We should ALL give back for getting so much. If we all give the LITTLEST amount of support, that can amount to A LOT.
Ways To Help Out:
1. Donate clothes, food, supplies, and other things that you don't need anymore to your troops. They're making the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives, so we could at least support them through the rough times.
2. Also try to donate food, money, and unused items to children in third world countries dying from hunger. You're not the only one who needs a nourishing meal.
3. Turn off lights, and water faucets when nobody's using them.
4. Recycle as much as you can! For example, you could turn an old cardboard box into a house, you could cut it up for it's parts, or lots of other things. Be creative!
5. Support the peace cause. There's one special motto I have, that really keeps me going. "Give others the opportunity of unity." It means to make peace with others, and do your best to conserve the last bit of the world's dignity.
All I want is for people to CARE about what's happening in the world. We have the power to stop taking everything for granted. You may not care now, but when the world is suffering, I'm sure you'll regret not caring now.
