Author's Note: There's a contest this week so read and then read the info below.

I waited and then Jonathan finally spoke.

"Well remember when I had evidence of the um, fairies?" Jonathan asked weakly.

I remembered it like yesterday, but I hated thinking about that stuff.

"Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?"

"I sort of got excited and posted the pictures on the Internet, I guess a guy saw them and saved them. I didn't think that would happen because I deleted them after you told me to!"

I couldn't speak. I was scared and I just had to ask.

"What did you man say to you?"

"I don't know he somehow got my email and told me he was coming for the fairies."

"Jonathan . . ." I moaned.

I heard a knock on my door and I jumped.

"Honey me and your mom are going to the pharmacy and the store," my father said through the door.

"Okay, bye," I said hurriedly.

I heard my dad sigh and then walked down the stairs.

"Can I come over Sarah? Sarah, are you there?" Jonathan asked.

"Uh yeah hurry and come over," I said.

I hung up the phone and walked downstairs. My stomach was churning. When I am nauseous I always eat this. I got out the applesauce of crackers. I spooned some applesauce and spread it on the cracker. It made my stomach feel better.

When I was putting my bowl in the sink I was surprised to here a car pull up. I peeked out the window. Strange, Jonathan's mom had driven him, usually he walks. He closed the car door and ran into the house, his mom just drove away not noticing her son's behavior. I looked a his face, it was pale white.

He was about to say something when we heard tires screech. We both looked out the window and saw a big black van park in front of the house. That's the kind of van your mother tells you to stay away from when your playing at the park. The driver came out. He was big, twice as big as a normal man. His head was shaved bald, you could see scars on the side of it. He was clutching something, but I never got to figure out what because Jonathan grabbed my arm and started running towards the other side of the house.

We burst out the back door and headed into the forest. I grabbed his hand instead of his arm as we ran away from that man. I had my head down so I didn't get whacked in the face by branches. I was running as fast as I had ever ran, I wasn't tired either, my adrenaline was rushing.

I heard something other than Jonathan's and my running feet. I heard breaking, and pounding behind us. I looked back and the man was running after us. He was like a tractor knocking down anything in his way. I screamed, but I didn't think anyone heard me except Jonathan and the man. We were too far into the forest to be heard. I turned my head back around and almost fell on my face because Jonathan had stopped. I felt his hands on my waist as he caught me. We were in the clearing.

"Thanks."

"Awe, how sweet." The man's gruff face made me and Jonathan freeze and slowly turn around. The man chuckled.

He smiled a cruel smile. "Now I can't have any kids telling their mommies and daddies about this . . ."

I turned around and tried to run again. The man jumped forward and grabbed me. He threw me to the ground and I cried out in pain. Then the man grabbed Jonathan and he tied us both up with ropes. I started crying from the pain in my head. I was bleeding.

I heard Jonathan whisper, "Sorry."

The man hit Jonathan is the head, "No talking!" He growled and I cried out in fear.

The man started a speech, "Now, see this little thing?" He held up his hand and in the palm was a grenade. My eyes got big. "I'm going to go blow up your little fairy friends."

"No! Don't, please!" I begged. He came over and slapped me in the face.

"You can't blow then up you don't even know where they are! You can't see them!" Jonathan bellowed at the man and got kicked in the side for it.

The man walked off in to the forest. He was walking right where the fairies lived. Oh, my god.

When the man was far enough away Jonathan turned his head to look at me. "Oh god Sarah are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay, are you." I hid my face so Jonathan wouldn't notice the blood gushing out of my head. I was fine, head wounds always bled more.

Five minutes later, the man was back smiling bigger than ever. "Ready for your little creatures to die?"

In his hand was a button, he was going to set off the grenade. His fat finger pushed it and I heard and saw the explosion. The ground shook and my head whipped around trying to shield my face.

I screamed, then I realized something. The man was going to kill us both, and I panicked. I kept screaming and the man clamped his hand over my mouth.

He put his face in front of mine and smirked, "No one can here you screaming girly."
