Come Out to Play
|

Whyville Poet |
Come out and play,
and hear me say,
the snow is deep, hurray, hurray!
As the day goes by,
I stop and sigh,
I hear someone in the distance cry!
She's perched upon a rock I see,
Kneeling down upon one knee!
She's sitting there,
She hopes and prays,
someone will come out and play.
I ask her to come along with me,
It will be tons of fun,
Just wait, you'll see!
We play a game,
and sing a song,
about how well we get along!

This poem was written by me when I was a bit younger! I know everyone has been left out some time in their life, and it doesn't feel that great, huh? This poem is asking everyone to put some consideration into other people, even if you don't know them. If they are newbies... make them feel welcome! Try your best to be a great Whyvillian!
