Author's Note: By now, I'm going to assume that you've already finished "Breaking Dawn". If you haven't and wouldn't like the book to be ruined for you, I would suggest that you stop reading this now.
This year, I had an awesome birthday. I finally turned 16, I now have money pouring out of my butt, and I got the Samsung Instinct. Not only that, but the very next day was August 2, and the official release of "Breaking Dawn".
Rewind to last December. I read "Twilight" totally on recommendation by my friend, Cindy. We were in Target, shopping for Christmas gifts, when she picked up the book, shoved it into my basket and yelled, "You are going to read this book and you are going to like it."
Now I can honestly say that I didn't get into it as much as some people (cough-alice-cough), but I did like it. Therefore, I asked my parents for "New Moon" for Christmas. I took two weeks reading "New Moon" because of the whole Edward leaving scandal, and the fact that I cannot stand Jacob. At all. Not one tiny little bit. Once I finished that, I begged my mom to drive me to Target so I could buy "Eclipse". I finished it in three days.
The day I finished "Eclipse", the release date wasn't set for "Breaking Dawn", but there was talk of it coming out in the late summer. I remember telling everyone that I couldn't wait that long, and then proceeded to read and re-read the entire series again, skipping "New Moon".
Since December, I have brutally ABUSED my books. My cover of "Twilight" is about an inch from completely falling off. Not only that, but there are pages falling out. "New Moon" has the least amount of damage, since it's been read a total of four times (two by me, one by my sister, and one by my cousin). "Eclipse" has the most damage, and it's kind of upsetting. Right after Jasper's story, the book has split in two. The glue came off, and the cover is bent, and the pages are falling out, too. I sort of feel bad for the way that I've "abused" the books, but their just so dang good.
Now, fast forward to August 1, 2008. I had a shirt that I made for the event all ready. I have all the books memorized to a point where you could say a line and I could tell you the line that comes after it. I had theories coming out my butt, since I once spent five straight hours with my friend Kristi thinking them up. (My theories weren't too far off from the actual book, either. I'll put them at the end of the article.) I had gone to some book club with my sister three times so I could be one of the first in line.
When we got to Barnes & Noble, the entire place was filled with screaming girls. The Starbucks cafe had a special drink, The Bloody Bella, and they had trivia and a lot of games. They also had face painting.
At 11:45, they started lining us up for the release, and I was fifteenth in line. I think I waited all of about three minutes for my book. Once I got it, it was a race home. We hit every single green light on the way home, and once I was there, I hit my bed and started reading. I couldn't wait to soak up every word.
Now that I've read the book two and a half times, I can honestly say that I hated "Breaking Dawn". I hate it. I really, truly do. The book, in general, creeped me out at times, it weirded me out at times. It was just a truly creeptastic book, and I can also honestly say that I wanted Bella to stay human. It's just awkward for me to read her as a graceful vampire, when for three books she was a total klutz.
I can't believe I had wasted all that time to be disappointed in the end.
Like Melisa had said, the final book in the series is supposed to tie everything together. If it's supposed to do that, then why do I still have questions? Why were there three thousand conflicts that came up? Why are there still loose ends?
Maybe I didn't read it thoroughly, but I think by the end of the third time, I would have read it enough to still see loose ends.
You can have your opinion, and I can have mine. If you loved "Breaking Dawn", that's totally great for you. I think that my copy will sit on my shelf after August, and I'll probably only read it when I'm extremely bored.

Author's Note: Here are my theories for Breaking Dawn:
- Charlie finds out about the werewolves, but not the vampires.
- The "Bells, we're up to bat" quote was in no way related to a baseball game, but to the wedding.
- Leah imprints/confesses love for Jacob.
- The red pawn on the cover meant a newborn, not necessarily Bella.
- Billy would die to bring Jacob back.
- The Volturi would find out about the wolves, and their alliance with the Cullens, therefore killing the alpha.
- Jacob would become the alpha of the wolves.
- Tanya's coven would come down from Alaska.
- A war between the Volturi and the Cullens.
- Jacob is the new "Sprit Wolf".
- Since Bella was choosing to be a vampire, it would have some effect on the first year or two.
- Tanya and Edward had a romantic past, despite all the denials.
- Bella is betrayed by her best friend (Alice or Jacob).
- A fight between the Cullens and the wolves, with Bella running around with a crowbar.
- The quote: Bella: "Why am I covered in feathers?" obviously means that when Edward bit her, he turned Bella into a chicken instead of vampire by mistake. (Haha, Pluckie!)
