What It's Like In Whyville

A Whyville People Poem

There are blacks and whites,
blondes and brunettes too.
It doesn`t matter what race or color hair you have.
As long as you are you!!

First Time

I came to a place where everyone had a charming face
Their eyes so cheerful, I thought I was at home,
The people were kind, I didn't mind,
At least they were nice. I like the store's price!
I was new, some people were mean like shrews,
But I had people who greeted me. I saw a blossom tree!
The place was like a dreamland! I saw people marching
Almost like they were in a band. Some people were small,
Some of them were big. I saw a delicious looking fig.
I knew this place, it was a site, I thought in fright.
This place wasn't just any place, it was my home
And that place for me to be was Whyville.
