Everyone has been a newbie in Whyville. Sometimes it is hard because you get teased and made fun of. I have interviewed some newbies and here's what they had to say:
MandyS: I have been made fun of a lot, but I've learned to ignore the mean Whyvillians. Sometimes I think all the oldbies should be charged 10 clams if they are caught making fun of us.
09Koolcat: I have been made fun of... usually people call me ugly and say that I don't belong in Whyville, but I ignore them. I think there should be police officers in Whyville that catch these people.
hottie: I have been made fun of because I have a brown face and some people say, "Go back to Africa," and then throw projectiles at me and call me a whole bunch of names and I think it should stop!
Well, there you have it. See how helpless these people are? So if people are making fun of you, tell them to stop because they were once a newbie and they don't have the right to treat any newbies that way. Please, stop and make Whyville a better place.
