Have you ever heard of Charity? Have you ever seen anything she made? Well, Charity was a great designer in Whyville in years past, along with many others. Read my article titled Madeleine: A Legend, to find out more about another great designer and citizen.
Charity was a very generous and caring
person (hmm, wonder where she got the name 'Charity' from, LoL). She was
always giving to
many not-as-fortunate Whyvillians. Every time I saw her, she would be giving
clams to newbies, and also talking with them.
Charity hasn't been on for 120
days!! I asked a few Whyvillians what they think happened to her.
First I talked with Javagirl, who's had Whyville since 11/22/2000.
Me: Have you ever heard of Charity?
Javagirl: Yup!
Me: Have you ever seen her or talked to her?
Javagirl: I think I might have talked to her on my old account, but not a lot.
Me: What do you think happened to her?
Javagirl: I have no idea. I don't think she quit though. Maybe she got hacked or something.
Me: What's the best thing she should be recognized for?
Javagirl: I think she was really nice and she was a great designer!
Me: Thanks for your time!
Javagirl: No worries.
Next, I interviewed January, who has had Whyville since 8/4/2000.
Me: Have you ever heard of Charity?
January: Yep I have/had some of the clothes she made.
Me: Have you ever seen or talked to her?
January: Nope, unfortunately.
Me: What do you think happened to her?
January: I'm not sure. I heard she maybe got tired of it or something. I just know one day when I was looking to buy something new of hers nothing was there and soon enough all her clothes were gone.
Me: What's the best thing she's recognized for?
January: I think her clothes, and I always hear from all who knew her for her being really kind to everyone.
Me: Thanks!
January: N/p! That was fun!
Last, I interviewed Googles. She has had Whyville since 7/6/2000.
Me: Have you ever heard of Charity?
Googles: Yep, I remember her!
Me: Have you ever seen or talked to her?
Googles: Yeah, plenty of times.
Me: What do you think happened to her?
Googles: Maybe she got bored, or maybe all the newbies scared her away, heh. She's one of those old old oldbies that left a long time ago.
Me: What's the best thing she's recognized for?
Googles: Well, I think she was the first one to make the blonde hair with the little bangs, you know? She was basically the one to start that style.
Me: Thank ya, Googles!
Googles: N/p, LoL.
As you can see, Charity is a well known, and well loved Whyvillian. What
really did happen to her? Some say they still talk to her on Instant
Messages. Others say she just got bored of Whyville. We may never know.
