Samantha and Bob had just arrived at Bob's sister's house. Let's see what happens next . . .
I anxiously was getting out of the car, rushing to her first door step. I was tearing up a bit, since I was so panicked and worried that she wouldn't be okay. Samantha and I started to constantly knock on her door, but there was no answer. We tried again, but still, there was no answer. My knees were shaking and Samantha led me to a window, and told me to look inside. I saw my sister, lying on the couch. I wasn't sure whether she was asleep, dead, or just being lazy. Samantha looked in at the window as I constantly knocked on her front door. She wasn't getting up, or moving for that matter. I, unsure about what to do, I called 911. I grew more scared when I saw the blood stains appearing at her neck.
"911, how may we help you?"
"HELP, PLEASE COME QUICKLY! My sister isn't moving and she won't answer her front door. PLEASE COME!"
"We will be there as soon as possible, stay calm and stay outside so we may see you. Don't leave or panic, we will be right over!"
"Please HURRY, I am in desperate need for help!"
I was scared, truly and utterly scared out of my mind. How could someone I loved so much possibly been killed, or worse, suicidal? That's a question not even I could answer. Samantha took my arms and put them against her back.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Your sister will be ok; it may just be a freak accident. Please try to calm down!"
The cops arrived shortly after she finished speaking. They came right out of their cars and we led them to the front door.
"Please stand back, this is now police evidence property."
My head was slightly spinning in circles, for the news was far worse than expected.
"Whoever did this truly wanted this person to suffer, they gave no mercy." said the investigative cop. He said it quietly, obviously not wanting me to hear; I heard them anyways.
"I'm truly sorry for your loss, I don't think anyone would have this wanted to happen to them." said one of the interrogators.
This unknown caller could not have been my sister, but she may have been involved. My sister was killed, there was no changing that, but she was not suicidal. This was no accident, this was planned, and it was perfect.
"We will look harder into this crime scene, we don't see every much evidence at the moment to lean further into an all-out investigation; we are terribly sorry. If you hear anything, don't hesitate to call 911 again"
As I saw them taking my sister out of the house in a body bag, tears came to my eyes. Samantha, overwhelmed, was sitting off to the side. She hadn't a clue what to say to me, or even what to do. She rushed over and grabbed my shoulder as everyone else left. I fell to my knees.
"It seems as the world has turned against me, I hope my mom is okay."
"Let's go home." said Samantha, unsure what to say.
It grew darker and darker until we decided to leave. Samantha drove home and told me 5 words that meant a lot to me at the moment. Other than those words, nothing else was said.
"I still love you, Bob" said Samantha, with tears in her eyes.
We drove off into the night, knowing I would never see my sister again. As the fog began to rise, I looked out the window.
