Boys now turn to cosmetics to better their appearance!
Do you as a fellow Whyvillian agree? Or do you, like many of the female sex, disagree? Or are you one of those individuals who just don't care?
Well, I care, and my sign on name on Whyville is SpAzChiK. My fellow Whyvillian friends and I have questioned the new "trend" going through the male fashion. Is it normal for guys to wear blush? I certainly don't think so.
In real life, does the average male walk around wearing blush? It is my belief that Whyville is supposed to be a reflection of our reality. I wonder just how many boys are at home now trying on their mothers' lipstick or eye shadow.
I'm not criticizing anyone's tastes. I'm just expressing my concern. This is unnatural behavior. But if the men like it, I say full steam ahead!
I have interviewed several people on this topic and I will share their opinions with you next.
I asked well-respected Tass what she thought about the topic, and this is what she told me: "I disapprove of guys wearing blush and I hope that if they wear blush on Whyville they restrain themselves enough not to wear it in real life."
On the other hand, I interviewed a male, Omar99, who wears blush and this is what he has to say for himself: "I find that girls are attracted to a man who can admit his feminine side. And I think that, like girls can wear pants, guys can wear blush. So no, I don't see a problem with it."
I asked another respected male of the Whyvillian society, ProoF69, what he thought. He said, "I think it's weird for guys to wear blush. If they don't wear it in real life (which I hope they don't) then why wear it on Whyville? It's a complete insult to the male society. Another thing, why are guys now calling other guys "MAMA" I mean come on! A guy? Mama? Bah!"
I asked javagirl what she thought, and here's what she said: "I really don't care one way or the other; it's Whyville, people can wear whatever they want."
The last person I interviewed was Pheasant. Here's what she had to say about the subject: "If you're a guy and you wear blush, you're a BAD PERSON! Furthermore, blush was created in ancient times by people who couldn't naturally sweat or turn red. So in order to have the cute bashful look, these women invented a powder out of sand and goats blood. If a man should use the powder, they were BANNED from society, and sent off and burned at the stake!!! I say we take these actions when dealing with Whyville boys who use blush. Thank you."
Well I want to thank everyone above for their valued opinions. I myself have a mixed opinion, but I thought that, as you are all my fellow Whyvillians, you deserved to have an insight into this new male fashion. I love you all just the way you are! Peace out!
