Okay, so it's almost Halloween, well a couple weeks away but still, I am SUPER exited, Halloween is my favorite holiday! I am going to show you how to draw the basics of Halloween! So sit back, relax, and get ready for Halloween!

Spider Webs

Step 1: In the corner of a paper, draw as many straight lines as you can, with about a 2mm space between them. See the picture below.

Step 2: Starting at the smallest part of the web going outward, draw curved lines rounding as they attach the lines from step 1 together. Continue until you have about 0.5 mm left of your lines from step one. That's all! If you want you can add a little spider.

Jack-o-Lanterns

Step 1: Draw an oval or circle shape for the base of the pumpkin. Next, draw a small rectangle at the top for the stem.

Step 2: It's time to draw the face! This part is really fun because you can make it look however you want! Instead of showing you the traditional square eyed and nosed pumpkin, I will show you two examples, a scary pumpkin, and a cute one.

Scary Pumpkin: Draw eyes like sideways raindrops and color them in black. For the nose, draw an upside down triangle. To draw the mouth, draw a square going up and a square going down. Repeat the pattern on the top, then do it on the bottom, then connect the top and bottom with what looks like a sideways triangle. Draw eyebrows for effect.

Cute Pumpkin: Draw oval shaped eyes and color in a black circle inside. Leave a little bit of white inside the black circle to make it look like the eyes are looking at something. Draw an upside down small triangle for the nose, and a circle to the side for a mouth.

Now, to color your awesome pumpkin, you will need black, green, and two shades of orange.

With the black, color in all the face parts, eyes, nose mouth, and draw some lines on the stem for texture.

With the darker shade of orange, draw rounded lines going around the pumpkin, then color in the pumpkin with the lighter orange.

Color in the stem green and you're all done! You can even color in a black background with a full moon if you want!

Well that's all for this week! Next week we will do some harder Halloween stuff like witches ghosts, and vampires! Stay tuned!
