Whoa. Halloween's here! Time to gather all the spooky decorations, creative pumpkins, and find a fun costume! But, as we all know, Halloween isn't all fun and games, and candy! You should also be safe. I'm going to give you a couple of tips on how to stay safe, and still have fun.

#1. You should always go trick-or-treating with an adult. Since your going to go at night, you never know what's going to await you around the corner. Parents are a kill though! Take a friend with you. I'm sure that'll make everything better.

#2. Take a flashlight. Flashlights will help you stay safe from the psychotic teenagers waiting to egg someone's house, and if your costume involves dark colors, they may not see you, and drive right over you. Ouch! You want to stay away from that kind of situation.

#3. You should only go to houses with lights on. You don't want an angry neighbor yelling at you for awakening him. I should know. (Experience).

#4. You should mostly go to houses of relatives. Like I said in tip number one, you never know what awaits you (unless you're psychic of course). But other than that, you shouldn't visit very many houses in which you don't know who lives there.

Now, those were some helpful tips for trick-or-treating. Now, when you get home, you still want to be safe. Not from monsters waiting to pop out from a bush, but from the treat part in trick-or-treat.

#1. Check every single treat you get! Every single one!! Don't eat the candy if the wrapper is open, or ripped even slightly. Make sure your parents help you check. If you see candy that doesn't look okay, even if it is your favorite candy bar Snickers, DON'T EAT IT. It could be poisonous.

#2. If kids are still out trick-or-treating, and someone knocks on your door, let your parent/guardian come open the door with you.

Alright. Well, that's all for now!

I hope you guys have fun trick-or-treating. Have fun, and be safe!
