You know that feeling you get when you realize something that isn't quite obvious? That sense where you don't have the proof, but you know it's true? That's how it feels ending this series. I've had lots of fun breaking out the crafts and trying to help the planet, but it's time for me to write about something different. I want things to end on a positive note.
The little crafts I've shown you are nothing compared to what some people have done to help the Earth. Take a look at these clever inventions!
The Editt tower in Singapore was designed by the T.R. Hamzah & Yeang International Architectual Firm. 26 stories high, this building has movable partitions and removable floors - ideal for making sure that it doesn't leave a harmful impact.
The Japanese firm SMK Corp invented a remote control that's human-powered. It can turn the TV on and off, flip through channels, and change the volume. The only difference is that it's the flip of a switch instead of the push of a button!
While most adhesive tape is made from oil, Sellotape original is made from wood pulp. It's manufactured from a resource that can be renewed, plus it's biodegradable.
