Author's Note: This is usally the story of Alexa, but for this part I will be switching to telling things from Deyjah, the elf's, point of view. Enjoy!

He was locked up in a cage. About three feet away sat Laguana in her human form. She appeared to be fast asleep, but it was hard to tell.

Laguana was keeping him captive.

He had a plan for how to escape, but he would have to wait until he was sure Laguana was asleep.

He waited two minutes, three minutes, four minutes . . . the time was perfect. He quietly muttered a few words and the door on his cage creaked open. Luckily, Laguana didn't put any spells on the lock to keep him from using magic. Deyjah spoke a few more words, and he was gone.

Deyjah reappeared in Mr. Craw's shack.

"Good to see you back elf," said Mr. Craw.

"You too Craw."

Then the two friends embraced.

"You know we have to do something about that witch coming in and out of here as she pleases," said Mr. Craw, his voice stern.

"I have the perfect recipe for that. I will need some flour." Deyjah responded.

Mr. Craw returned a few moments later with a bag of flour.

"Now," said Deyjah, "We need to make a circle around the house with this, and quickly, that bloody witch will be waking any moment from her -ugh- . . . beauty sleep".

The two men ran outside, frantically surrounding the shack with a circle of flour.

When the had finished, the sat down, exhausted, beside the shack. Suddenly, there was a horrid screeching noise, and the two men looked up to see Laguana, as a raven, circling the house, obviously annoyed.

"You fools! It's not you I want to destroy, it's that child and her key!" screeched the witch, flying away.

"My, god, she is going after Alexa!" Mr. Craw said, but he spoke to late, because the elf already muttered the words and was on his way to find Alexa, before Laguana could.
