Some people may think that people only nominate their close friends for Whyvillian in the Spotlight. Well this week, I'm proving you wrong. I'm nominating someone I'm not close friends with, in fact I hardly know her. Although I don't know her personally, I feel like I know her most of the time. She connects to everyone through her amazing writing.
That's right, I'm talking about Kindell. Kindell is one of the most well known writers for our very own Whyville Times. She's written so many articles, all very well written. All of her articles have the ability to speak to you, to connect to anyone, to get everyone thinking. She just has that way with words that can relate to anyone. I sometimes wish I could write as well as she does.
She writes for our Whyville Times, and she's been coming on Whyville since 2003. But not only that, but she is a also a great person in real life. I've only talked to her a few times, but she's been nothing but nice and friendly. We've y-mailed back and forth a few times and she's shared stories with me, making me feel like I could really get to know her, instead of just giving me generic answers as most people would.
She has such a flamboyant personality. She seems like she's great at making friends, and I'm sure she has tons. She really seems to stand out among the other people I've met on Whyville. She just has such charisma.
Kindell is 15, but will soon be 16, and is a sophomore in high school. She has a brother, 2 cats, and a dog. Kindell loves eccentric music, her favorite band is Tegan and Sara. Her favorite songs are "Hop on a Plane" by Tegan and Sara and "Candle (Sick and Tired)" by White Tie Affair.
Her favorite subject is English, of course, and she's even cool enough to have a favorite punctuation mark; a semicolon. She loves art and wants to be a graphic designer when she grows up. She of course loves writing, and loves writing for the Times. She writes very genuinely and likes connecting with other people through her writing.
All in all, Kindell is one of the most amazing people here on Whyville. She really deserves to be recognized.
