I see you in a vision of flurry
Spewed and strewed across my mind
In rainbow colors and
Shapes of every kind
Spitting out from the edges of your skin
Like coiling spokes from a lemon rind

But you stand still in the middle of my mind's madness
Still, cold, hard, and frozen
Square nose, red lips, tough fingertips
This beautiful oblivion is closing
In, but beneath the surface like solder
Our iceberg tips have welded from erosion

And so I fall lost into your deep eyes
Each time, smoldering me
With deep, dark, yet lucid
Corneas cleaving to my degree
I sweat their fire and shiver their ice
But I prefer the folly of your melody
