Bloody tears and a red stained heart,
Snow white lips -- she's dead from the start.

Open your mouth to say goodbye,
Choking on your "how?" and "why?"

Killing time to heal the pain,
Love is just a loser's game.

Unlocking your heart (only for a little while),
You got caught in his flashing smile.

Teeth turned fangs and eyes turned cold,
Your heart can stay, but your soul is sold.

Days go slow, but it's only for a short time,
It's only seconds before he passes you by.

Your face is numb, and there's shaking in your knees,
It feels so strong, but you feel so weak.

They say time can heal a scar,
Lungs filled with blood and a throat of tar.

You slur your words 'cause the drugs finally kicked in,
There's going to be a fight, but you know you can't win.

You're laying on the floor, a bloody mess,
I know, baby, you could care less.

You lay there clawing at your bleeding heart,
But it's okay honey, you were dead from the start.
