Broken hopes,
A rotting rope.
The former holds the latter.
The latter slowly lets go.

Wrong side of the moat.
Stuck without a boat
to cross this sea to find
a home I've left behind.

I know, I know
I used to love them so.
As things go,
it came to life.

I know, I know
I used to love them so.
But as things go,
it died.

But your love holds,
daydreams covered in gold,
pulled from memories
of a time when I could see.

We found ourselves
as hermits discover themselves.
In this epiphany
I find you're everything I seek.

I know, I know
I used to love them so.
As things go,
it came to life.

I know, I know
I used to love them so.
But as things go,
it died.

Sara, I am falling hard
and Sara, I am falling fast.
Sara, do you understand?
You're everything I want.

Sara, I am falling hard
and Sara, I am falling fast.
Sara, do you understand?
You're everything I love.

Sara, I am falling hard
and Sara, I am falling fast.
Sara, do you understand?
You're everything I love.

Sara, I am falling hard
and Sara, I am falling fast.
Sara, do you understand?
You're everything I love.
