Hi, this is *cool_kate*, and I just wanted to say a few things.
First, I wanted to say that lots of people are starting to complain about oldbies being mean to newbies. Well, not all the oldbies are like that. I try to help newbies as much as possible, and that's why I'm always running out of clams and then another person will ask me and get mad when I say I don't have enough clams to give away.
Even my friends complain when I can't give them any. (Not mentioning any names.) Then they'll go on complaining and calling me nasty names saying stuff like you were a beggar once! Which isn't true, because I never really begged -- my friend and I just helped each other. That's why most of the time when I help a newbie it's a surprise because I choose people who don't go around asking for the stuff but seem like they want some or can't talk yet.
The next thing I want to say is people shouldn't complain about Why-Passes just because they don't have one. Whyville will be busy anyway! The Waiting Room started before the Why-Passes came out! The point of the Passes is for Whyville to make money, not clams. Then, when people ask why they don't just find another way to make real money, the problem is, the same people will go on complaining about that too. I know some people can't buy them for some reasons but some people can and just don't want to, even though they love Whyville so much. Why can't they just spend a little bit of money? I know some people don't have one but they also don't complain, so I'm not complaining about that.
The last thing I want to say is that I noticed people saying that if they delete old accounts we can have more names. Well, they do this! I've had at least three (maybe more) of my old names deleted, but they still show up in the City Records as that little happy face! Their plots are also deleted. The plot I used to have was deleted because I didn't visit it for a little while, so I figured I'd mention that before people complained about that.
